can’t short people be short husbands later in life or is it only attractive to be tall? ya’ll have done so much to surpass stereotypes in visual novels why fall back into this one? 😭 he used to be a short king

Derek isn't tall, though, he's muscular. Jorge is taller than him by Step 4 and Nicolas is expected to outgrow Derek as well once he's adult. Derek is still clearly and visibly shorter than Cove when the two are side by side Step 4. Derek isn't winning any competitions when it comes to height, aha.

Honestly Derek simply had to put on some height if he was going to be able to follow his dreams later in life. Its sad but true but when is the last time you saw a 4'somethin soccer play, or football, or baseball, or really any competitive team sport. Im happy to see that nature and nurture allowed him to do what he loved, and if he happens to be a head or two taller than my MC now, that just means the cuddle scenes will be all that much cuter. =)

Serena Divinity

Nah cuz he still looks fine af as a sketch 😫

lol not sure i would use the word stereo type myself, but it definitely is associated with certain concepts (Wealth, Power, Good Looks and Health) especially in Visual Media (go find an otome where the male characters are shorter than the lead female MC, only one that I know of that has those is actually written by GB Patch as well, and i think they did that just to prove that not all fun sized people, are actually fun to be around lmao) I could happily discuss this subject in depth but uhm dont think its the right place to do so.
