Based on player feedback, I've been adding more options throughout the existing OL2 scenes, haha.

Deidra

Omg she’s so precious

Karma

I appreciate the fact that it gives me the opportunity to be exactly how I was as a child.. very blunt and abrasive

Georgia Young

I love that you can do an almost non-verbal route!! I wonder whether, in stage two, if you go from talking when you’re ten to not talking as a teen, will they bring it up at any point?? 👀

Stich Warren

I love alot of choices!!! It really makes me feel like I am there and have a say!!! And with more diverse ways of saying things I can really get a great personality for my player!!! I absolutely love this!!!!!

Chloris_Chris

Pretty Precious Little Tamarack 🥺🥺🥺

Rachel

She's a mindreader!!

Rachel

I love it too! It totally surprised me when I decided to try going that route and it actually went (almost) completely non verbal. But now I'm curious too to see what happens 👀 I'd do an MC that's very outgoing young, but starts to get shy as they grow up

leogrl19

'I don't think you're pretty!' ...MC said like a Liar. AHAHA Are there receipts in those leaves? Thought this was a forest, not a courtroom - Tamarack's pulling Objections. 🤣😂 Not that I'm not here for her feeling herself. (Stop making me love her MOAAAR) Please, please pleassse add something for being caught in those eyes? They're so pretty! Let my MC Disaster toooo

Anna Bia

THIS IS SO CUTE!!! And many kids act like this so is even more precious

Foreign Jello

I love this! This is so cute! Another one that I would personally love to see added is when you first meet Qiu and they drop all their papers on the ground, that the MC will just silently point at the papers around Qiu's feet!

Yuri Heisenberg

Love them both already! Can't wait to see where the story goes :3

Nora Knox

It'd be nice to have more nonverbal options like instead of saying your name you can point to the paper and timid/shy options like instead of just not saying anything when meeting someone you could shuffle with the paper. Hiding behind Tamarack when meeting the boys club was super adorable. It'd be nice/funny to set a precedent and have it called out lol. Same with as mentioned being quiet. It'd be cute to have it called out when you do talk

Jericho

Tsundere gremlin child dreams coming trueeee

Sean

I agree! Moments like when Tamarack introduces MC to Qiu if they don't speak up are so cute.

Joonie

"How did they know???" Hahaha (^∇^)!

Konoi Kurozora

Oh nice, I like the "you scared me" option. Will be fitting for my MC! Thank you for the additions!

ian

Absolutely adorable

Sym 🍓

THATS SO CUTE AIDNWODJEKD— I'm here for more options! it gives you flexibility to have more immersive gameplay :)

finn

omg this is so cute ❤️

Cheese-And-Rice, Mooney

Same, to be honest I literally never talked as a kid. I don't know why. I didn't even shake my head to say yes or no or looked at people in the eye. I was literally a walking statue, no emotion, no movement (except walking) etc., while in the game I have to eventually answer. I can understand that not everything can be made as simply refusing to speak/stay silent but I would enjoy a bit more of silent options, however even if they don't add more of them I'm more than happy with the one we already have since there weren't a lot of those in OL1, so it's definetely a upgrade. I'm genuinely even more antisocial/shy than Cove and Miranda, they would genuinely look social in comparison to me XD

Deni_idk

Oh my goooddd its so cutee!

Mrs.PotatoCat

Hopefully this crosses over to Qiu’s interactions; I know it will in the end, but I’m excited to see the internal regret my Mc will experience for accidentally saying that out loud to Qiu.

A

These new options are so amazing and cute omggg <3 I appreciate how much choice you give as it's really not easy to do so and make them feel actually impactful and not just throwaway lines.

Jennifer Wellnitz

I dont know if it's on your radar, but it could he a neat moment for trans players to be able to express more uncertainty when tamarack asks you if you're a girl, in like a "I never thought about the fact that I could be a girl/could not be a girl before" sorta way

Vera

And yet, you still cant hate mom for moving you to some small town when on the cusp of puberty... . . i did not handle that well as a kid-teen XD

PoohBee

These is so cute!!! Fantastic addition 😄

tea (the drink)

Is accidentally spelled wrong here? I feel like it is.

Psykes

Thank you for the additions, can't wait to check them out when the next build is released. 😁

ItaLii

Love how Tamarack is NOT having the ‘bullying the person you like’ trope 😂 It’s interesting and a little sad to think she gets less confident and sure of herself as she gets older, unfortunately the truth for a lot of kids. We need to make sure to give her whatever she needs from us as her friend!! Also thank you for taking the time to add more details, I love stuff like this!

Ethan

Omg, I love that! Keep up the great work!!

Ethan

Omg I would love that too, or for nonbinary players. I think an option like that in general for people who are unsure of their pronouns would be awesome

BRG

HA! that is a good addition. so funny. I love Tamarack even more!

GB Patch

I'm sorry, I don't know! Nothing for Step 2 is written yet.

GB Patch

You can be very angry at Opal, if you'd like.

GB Patch

"accidently" can be used technically, though it's not something everyone thinks should be. But that was autocorrected and not something I noticed when typing.

leogrl19

Nah - I'm just gonna love her. she's the reason I met my Wife. ;) Best wingmom

Ashley Owens

I can see my MC that's struggling to understand whether or not they like girls just panicking and "I DON'T THINK YOU'RE PRETTY!" and immediately beginning to sweat and holding back nervous vomit

推しかわいい です

“the prettiest person” was right I want to tell her at that time. Thank you for adding the great option…;x;

PinkieKite

OMG, I have been thinking that my MC will not be honest with their feelings and now I can do this? TY, this is perfect!

🦁

Sorry if this is kind of OOT, but I noticed Qiu would say 'MC is pretty' when Darren protested both MC and Tamarack joining the 'club'. Is this based on Qiu's feelings toward female MC? Because he didn't say something like 'MC is cool/handsome' if the MC was male despite Qiu having a crush on him. Thank you!

Marshie

It's based on if your reaction upon meeting him is "that was the prettiest person you had ever seen." And he'll call them pretty regardless of their gender.

🦁
>>109461352

I see, I did pick different choices with my 2 MCs, tysm for the clarification! ❤️

GB Patch
>>109461352

Yeah, that's right! It's just a callback to the earlier 'pretty' choice, not anything to do with the gender of your MC or even the relationship you have with Qiu.
