Welcome back Modders to a wonderful new season.

Its season 3 Episode 1 - "Terrain Time".

My names Harkness and I'm an Arma/DayZ UI, Scripting and Terrain Developer.

Iv worked with various Teams/Projects and Companies over the last decades. Currently I work as one of the lead developers of Pripyat and Im also a Staff Team Member over on DayZ Academy along with Flynn / c4pwn and Nate,

DZAcademy is a wonderful community driven place you can go to meet, chat with and learn from many experienced modders in a pleasant and mature environment.

In this first episode your going to learn all about creating your very own custom terrains for DayZ. At the start were going to cover terrain specifics and then further season 3 episodes will dive deeper covering a much wider range of topics such as; Buildings / Houses / Petrol Pumps / Fireplaces and Cooking Points, Ladders / Windows / Doors / Draw-Bridges and even Elevators and Escalators if you fancy it! Player ID / Locking with Keys or cards etc Power generation / Solar Panels / Power Storage Sound Effects / Lights and other Special FX too.

As most of you know iv taken some time off my projects to help my wife have our first baby and I know you've all been waiting patiently for my return and we both just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who's stuck around during my time off. Our Baby Girl Amelia, named after "Amelia Earhart" was born healthy on the 24th October at 3.29KG and your continued support just made the experience so much better not only for me but for my wife as well. We where able to pay for private clinics and get the best care possible. From my whole family thank you. Your not going to be disappointed, Iv got some insane lesson plans for you this year.
