Hello everyone!

I am currently working on my next commission, but the back and forth planning process has given me some extra downtime, so I started work on Cross Contamination part 13!

I've been thinking about the ending to Cumbunny a lot the past few days. The story has been getting a lot of positive reception here, and in the poll, most people said they would prefer to see a dark ending where Eliza loses.

I recently thought of an ending concept that is very dark, but involves a win for Eliza. And I wondered if people would like it. If people think it stinks or would be unsatisfying, obviously I wouldn't use it.

I felt like it would be easier to get the impression of what I was going for if i just wrote up a potential scene rather than describing it in bullet points. So I did just that! This is different than ending choices I have done before, but I feel like knowing if people would like this beforehand would help with shaping the story moving forward.

Obviously, if this ends up being the ending I run with, this will be a MASSIVE spoiler for the story as a whole, so I won't paste the text into the post here. The potential ending will be posted in the attached pdf.

That's a VERY satisfying ending IMO. Eliza gets out of her situation in a way that doesn't feel contrived, and Gene gets damned to his own personal hell, lol.

So satisfying to see Eliza win like this. And I think the potential double would fit really nicely with the overall tone do the story!

I love the ending! I think it should be foreshadowed a bit in the final draft if you go this route, though. Have her search the forums after Gene's latest humiliation for her, hoping for a way out. Have her almost falling into despair as she scrolls pages upon pages of posts before finally seeing the story of two brothers and their attempt to transform their friend.

It’s a clever ending but I think it’s more satisfying to see Eliza still under his thrall on some level. Maybe you can work that out via the David angle (he’s angry/jealous/has become turned on by her cheating and takes some sort of lasting sexual revenge etc etc) but I think it’s better for an erotic story to leave the characters existing in the new dynamic created for the story.

It's so funny to see the disparity between the votes and the comments. So I guess to even it out a little, I'll explain why I'd prefer for Eliza to lose. For me personally. The excitement in this story comes from how inescapable this situation feels for Eliza. The concept of the oil, the community built around it and Eliza constant failure to escape it. It a reinforces this sense of helplessness of being a "cumbunny" that I find so erotic. So really this kind of ending would be wholly unsatisfying to me.

I'm seeing a lot of strong opinions on both sides here! But the darker ending that stays true to Eliza's Cumbunny transformation seems like a clear winner popularity-wise. I think I can definitely write a satisfying ending like that. Hmmm. Maybe this could be a release with two official branching endings? I would hate to have the whole story feel spoiled for either group. I'll put some thought into whether I feel like that's something I can do elegantly.

Why end the story at all? Just keep writing chapters of Eliza getting more and desperate and depraved while Gene adds more women to his stable of cum addicted sluts? If you are going to end it though, don't let Eliza win. It's always more fun to see the dark endings and I think in this particular instance we haven't seen enough of Eliza and David to feel very sympathetic towards them. I can see more of a case in cross contamination where we've been with the characters for longer and might feel like they deserve some kind of reprieve but for a stuck up food stealing HR manager and her wimpy accountant husband? Nah. Fuck em. In her case, literally.

I would imagine a complete lose would be Eliza losing David and genes cum. But a complete win would be happily cuckold dynamic. Middle ground would be Eliza divorces David to become gene Cumbunny

I have mixed feelings about this ending. I am drawn to stories of triumph over evil, but I feel that the whole arc of this story was not only her fall, but Eliza's reluctant embrace of her own depraved need for such. I don't know how much further you wish to write, but one possibility would be for Gene to have already pre-empted any subterfuge by creating a second batch of addictive creamer, juice, etc., and having David exposed to it. All in the family, so to speak, with the added benefit that Eliza can come clean to David while they share in the degradation.

We're obviously reading this story because corruptive mind control and cuckolding stories are turn-ons for us, so of course the "bad-guy" needs to win. I do think the girls need some sort of "victory" so it has a sort of bitter-sweet happy ending, but ultimately still end up as Gene's happy Cumbunnies. Maybe David joins the girls in their service like Gene initially wanted and they all live a "satisfying" life together.

Have you considered making the other ending available, even in raw form, for paying members? Even if it's a non-canon ending some of us can imagine that it is :)

I think Gene should become addicted to David’s cum in addition to Eliza. So, not only does David get her back, more dedicated than ever, but he also gets his enemy as HIS jackrabbit. Gene begging for David’s cum and willing to do anything to get it!

I think some kind of “win” for Eliza would be my preferred outcome, even if it isn’t necessarily at Gene’s expense per se (though that could be a delightful comeuppance). I think you’ve already touched on a few interesting threads - Kim’s self aware desire to remain in Gene’s thrall, Eliza’s recognition at various points that even absent the oil she and Gene have amazing chemistry. I personally would prefer an ending where Eliza is able to reclaim some kind agency but what she chooses to do with it could be fun either way. There might even be something about she chooses to cuck Dave and sleep with Gene even if both of them can technically satisfy her cravings.
