I said in my latest post I had a tentative idea for a longer running "Cuckold Epic". Here is that idea. Let me know what you think!

Here is an idea that I have been kicking around for a while that I think could work as a long slow-boil cuckolding story. As the pitch is currently written, it involves college students and a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, but I think the core concept could be tweaked to involve a young married couple if that is more impactful.

Monica Barnes is a little firecracker. Petite, energetic, fiercely intelligent, a little immature, and, most importantly, competitive. The main place she lets her competitive spirit out is at the gaming club at her college. It’s also where she found her boyfriend of two years, Brett.

Brett is a laid-back guy who is totally in awe of his hot little girlfriend. He’s the strong silent type, and one would normally assume he would be a little too cool for a video game club. Maybe it was the fact that Monica was a member that made him stick around. He and Monica are sort of the “power couple” in the game club. When Monica discovered that Brett liked to be teased by her, not just during games, but in bed as well, she was delighted. She finds it utterly satisfying to be his naughty little brat, wind him up, and lead him around by the nose in the bedroom, and they have an active and satisfying sex life.

But there is trouble looming in paradise.

There is a new freshman who has just joined the club, Kade Garrison, who seriously gets on Monica’s nerves. His swaggering attitude, casual sexism, and utter confidence that he is God’s gift to women are all like fingernails on a blackboard to her. It only makes it worse that despite his confidence he is a scrawny little dork. And don’t get her started on the fact that the younger man’s gaming skills are enough for him to almost rival Monica, the queen of the club…

Everything starts to go wrong from Brett’s perspective when he calls in sick one day to the club. Monica returns home, obviously upset. She guiltily shares with her boyfriend that she might have fucked up… Kade was talking shit, as usual, that he was the best fighting game player in the club, better even than Monica. Monica simply couldn’t let that stand. Her pride was on the line. She challenged Kade to a match, and if she won, he would have to admit that she was better than him. But if she lost…

Monica is pathetically sorry, she really really thought she could beat the cocky little shit, otherwise, she never would have agreed to the bet. She explains that her penalty is that she has to go on a date with Kade. Brett is thunderstruck, and tries to convince Monica to back out of the agreement, but he knows it's a lost cause. Bets and penalties are taken deadly seriously in the game club, and no one takes them more seriously than Monica herself. She would lose all respect from the club if she went back on this one.

Monica assures him that the date is utterly meaningless, and Brett grudgingly agrees to allow it, on the condition that he watches from a distance to make sure Kade doesn’t try anything.

But during the date, Brett and Monica discover that Brett’s love of getting teased and Monica’s love of teasing are powerfully triggered by the experience, and they fuck like rabbits afterward. They think the experience is behind them, but then Brett is challenged to a game by Kade with another date with Monica as the stakes, and for some reason, Brett can’t resist…

Things slowly spiral from there, with Kade worming his way into their relationship little by little. Brett and Monica try to allow carefully controlled dates as a way to explore this new fetish they've discovered, but Kade has an infuriating way of successfully crossing their carefully drawn lines. Monica insists that she can’t stand the little twerp, but hate and love are two sides of the same coin, and her passionate negative feelings about Kade are still a kind of passion.

How far exactly are Monica and Brett willing to let Kade get?

And at a certain point… are Brett and Monica even on the same page about that question?

PS: The name “In the Zone” for this story is a mild spoiler. It references the fact that, after a certain point in the story, Brett is in danger of becoming “friend-zoned” by Monica while Kade becomes her real boyfriend.

Well… what do you think? A good premise for a long-run grounded story? A little weak? Boring? Curious on your thoughts.

truthfully there needs to be a 5th category on the poll. I think its interesting but cuckold not a fetish I like. So it seems unfair to choose any of the options. The second option still implies the person who chooses it will read it. Add a sounds cool but not interested without saying its bad option. It will probably get you a little more feedback on if the idea is interesting or not. Please keep up the stories even the ones i am not interested in have a lot of thought and work put in.

Bored One

I'm noticing shades of Gina from Cross Contamination in how Monica is described, with Kade almost being a weird mix of Victor and Daren from the same series. It is sounding a bit generic but I enjoy this kind of story so that's not going to turn me off, it will depend on the execution. How long are you thinking with this one? 15+ chapters? I think there needs to be more fleshing out of the plot to make that length work, especially if you keep it grounded, since that implies a lot more ups and downs in the character arcs. It also feels like Brett in particular will need more development. Just my initial thoughts, seeing a proper outline would help me judge it better.

I like the idea. I would say keep it with the college couple setting. With the lower responsibilities and more free time there's more opportunity for over the top vignettes, which from your last post it sounded like you were interested in exploring. One thing that I think would be interesting is changing up the dynamic between the couple a little bit. In most of these type of longer form stories the dynamic is the same as spelled out above. However one of the reasons I like your writing so much is that the dynamics tend to be things I don't see else where. Brett liking to be teased, sure it is always a good hook for some descriptive scenes, but maybe have him take a different trajectory to why he lets this happen. Maybe despite his size he is deeply afraid of conflict so can't stand up for himself and has just skated by on people naturally being intimidated by him. Maybe he really embodies that game club need to keep a promise and Kade tricked him into promising to not interfere and now he is stuck. Happy to spit ball more ideas if you like, but that would be my question for if you should write this. Can you make Brett and Monica break the mold?

Rabblelaid's Stories

You raise a good point. I do think the teasing fetish is a common trope in these type of stories, but I also wonder if it's load-bearing. I mean, if Brett isn't turned on, I'm worried that the tone changes from "dangerous, sexy game that might go too far" to "Monica is emotionally abusing Brett". If and when I write this story, there will be dozens of comments howling that Brett should break up with Monica and beat the tar out of Kade. I don't have any desire to feed the trolls, but those sorts of questions need answers if the story is going to feel "grounded". A self-destructive cuckold fetish is the solution a lot of authors choose, but I'm not opposed to mulling other options.

Rabblelaid's Stories

Yes, this is a very barebones pitch. Essentially just the inciting incident and a vague direction for the plot. Brett is a bit of a swing for me. A lot of the cuckolds I write are total wimps, but Brett would be a bit more of a masculine, confident character, at least to start

Rabblelaid's Stories

You're right, that probably would have been a good option to include! Sadly I can't change pills after posting (probably to prevent author shenanigans).

The setup is perfect. Can't wait fot the whole thing! It would be better to have them as a married couple though. I think it's quite important for this genre.

I get what you are saying. Brett having a fetish for it definitely help dismiss thoughts of it being more abusive, and definitely gives a solid single answer to the question of why he doesn't leave. But maybe there are some other ways around it. Habituation is a powerful thing, if there are enough reasons for "Well I won't leave right now" then that can turn into a reluctance to leave even when there is no reason to stay. Also I didn't mean to suggest he doesn't get any sexual excitement out of it, I do think Brett at least grappling with having those feelings would be a very compelling part of the story. As an example of this maybe Brett did a lot of work at the beginning of college to build his current persona, bulking up at the gym, getting the amazing girlfriend, starting and running the video game club, all giving that much more Victor style successful character you mentioned below you were interested in using here (I am also a fan of this). But then when the events you outlined happen it is a real loss to him. He doesn't like it. It threatens that image of himself that he built up. So he is willing to pretend some of it isn't happening to save his ego, and his perception by others. Maybe that causes him to retreat internally to fantasies, even pornographic ones. He is then pulled further and further in, and the fantasies let him cope with losing who he wanted, and worked, to be. Just an idea though. I guess my main concern is not having the story echo the beats of other stories where Brett falls to fast because it was what he secretly always wanted.

Would love to read this, better still if it's a long story!

I would like this, and I definitely prefer the younger boyfriend approach to the married approach. One potential issue is Bretts involvement past being friendzoned- might be interesting if Kade is interested in corrupting him too in some manner?

Anjali

Definitely less jeopardy if they are not married. Lots of relationships go down the plug hole in college so the reader might be less invested. How about a just graduated couple with upper class families so no money worries but lots of societal pressure?
