This is what the ranettes look like when they're wild. It's smaller than a cherry. Yeah, apples can be like that.

Wow, can we get those in the US? I'd never heard of them, but they sound good!!

LOL, they can. There was such a TV series in Russia, in 2008, it was called literally: "Ranettes" and was about a half-real musical group of young girls, which was called just like these apples and/or the TV series. Although they were actresses and acted in the TV series, yet their music went far beyond the TV series and was very popular, especially among school children. 😁

It is a very northern and wild variety. Check Canada, or maybe Alaska. 😄

Ha ha, something tells me you were one of those 'school children' at that time! Now I'm gonna have to make a research about this famous Russian TV series... For the time being, let me just add that I'm very impressed by your English (which is quite logical, as a French).

I was 11 years old when this series came out 😄. But I didn't watch it very much. I've always been interested in more "heavy" music. Rock and everything around it. Thanks, but that's all thanks to the translator apps. I don't really know English very well. 😓

Ric Ulloa

Thanks! I did find them in a Canadian store! Great reference from you and I appreciate it (and you!).

Oh no, I'm cursed! Why do I always have to fall in love with 28 years old women that happen to be adorators of PJ Harvey, The Cure, Shirley Manson, Lily Allen, Dolores o'Riordan, Rage Against the Machine, the list goes on... As for your English level, it's hard to fully believe you, cause no one can speak a foreign language that fluently just by using a 'translator app'! 😉

Jere

so THAT's what they are, I lived in Colorado Springs and we had those trees, and we called them Russian Crab Apples (they are very bitter)

VitAnyaNaked

That's a funny name for apples! Why is it so funny to me? ))
