You can congratulate me, a longtime dream of mine has come true. Last winter I got a new ear piercing in my ear called a "conch", and now I'm wearing a new earring in that piercing. The earring is designed like a clicker (a smooth ring with no visible lock), it's made of white gold and encrusted with the same blue sapphire as my regular earrings. They look like a set now! This piercing was custom made, by a jeweler, as there are no such earrings available commercially.

awesome, it looks really sharp...I wear red, white, blue and a hoop in my left ear but none of them are custom...I do like blue and sapphires though...and I also prefer the silver colour over the gold colour..

Oh wow, 40? That's a lot )). What metal do you have them in? I'm seeing a huge shortage of jewelry. Mostly steel and titanium are on sale. This has become a big problem for me. I can't wear steel and titanium, my body doesn't accept it.

Yeah, I don't like the look of yellow gold either. That's why I only wear white. I would love to wear silver, but it oxidizes as well as the other metals in me. I don't know why, but only gold doesn't give me pain.

I honestly don't even have information on the earrings I wore a little earlier. If you put it that way, I was going to buy a quality titanium one, but I have no idea what I ended up buying because they're sold just in a transparent sachet 😀

Gold is a nonreactive metal..a lot of people have a high acid content in their blood which causes them to react to certain metals...have you ever tried stainless steel...when I wear real silver items, they turn black after a time and I have to clean them...

Congratulations. It looks pretty.

Why does the inner part of the Ear, around the earring look Red & swollen?

In this photo, I just replaced my titanium earring with a gold one. Since the piercing is fresh and not yet fully healed, it was quite difficult.
