Let's get back to our journey.So, we left Irkutsk and took a cab to a town called Slyudyanka.We have the train station on background now. It is remarkable because it is the only building in Russia built entirely of white and pink unpolished marble! Do you know what else the town of Slyudyanka is famous for?

awesome building...I have to admit that I cheat...whenever you post about a stop, I look it up on the internet...although I did know that Lake Baikal is the deepest lake on Earth from back in my school days...

What that in the dog's ear? Looks like the poor guy's missing an eye too...

This furry bro is a street dog. Veterinarians have them captured and sterilized to control the stray dog population and then released into the street. That earring in his ear means he doesn't need to be caught, he's already been caught before. I don't know about the eye, but I didn't think he was one-eyed at the time.
