A monument to a mountain goat has been erected in the center of Arshan. Mountain goats are the natural habitat of this region (the Sayan Mountains). No other explanation for this monument has yet been found.

The Golden Calf story. While escaping Egypt Moses was on Mount Herob burning the bush. Receiving the Ten Conmandments. The people, down the hill a bit, made a "Golden calf" to worship for carrying their stuffs. Pissed G-D off tremendously.
