Art process: Harris hawk in a hood (Patreon)

This shows the process for how I colour and render feathers! I always map out where each feather will be - most are uniform to create consistency while the others are random to look more wild. I Go over it in light strokes to give the feathery look. It is a simple but very effective technique! It's good to plan out the feathers first I found out!
