just so u guys can see my suffering heres a snippet of my sketchbook. i still don't like where my skills are at now but im now realizing that im gaining more confidence over my lines which is great! i feel like the way i draw hair has improved too. im noticing that i can also get away with trying to do smaller faces as my issue with faces are more about proportions and less so about individual features.

it's like i can draw individual features like eyes nose mouth without making a lot of mistakes but the PLACEMENT of those individual features is what gets me, its what determines if the character is looking up or down. so u can see im practicing a lot of faces that are not frontal, theyre always looking up, down, left, tilted somehow
