“Leyvi! Lapin!” Jade exclaimed.

With her spiritual sense, she immediately spotted Leyvi standing atop a humongous cloud. The female demonic monkey was still with him, looking thoroughly perplexed by the scenery below.

The enormous cloud was naturally Lapin in his rabbit form. He had grown so large and fluffy that from a distance he completely resembled a drifting mass of pure white cloud. Soft fur billowed outward in gentle layers, and the sheer scale of his body made the surrounding sky look small by comparison.

Jade felt a brief but sharp wave of embarrassment. Throughout the entire ordeal she had completely forgotten about Lapin, who had only recently become their ally. In the heat of the crisis, she had fallen back on old habits, relying solely on the network of Protectors she had known for centuries. The oversight stung more than she cared to admit.

Lapin had been enjoying his time in Ultima City this whole while, which meant he was actually the nearest person capable of reaching her in time.

“Sister Jade! Come over here! Let Senior Lapin take care of this snake!” Leyvi called out loudly.

Jade did not act stubborn. She quickly flew over and landed beside Leyvi. She truly did not have much energy left to confront the king cobra on her own.

Meanwhile, down below, more and more venom continued spraying outward, filling the air and causing the remaining ice to melt even faster. The hissing grew louder and stronger with every passing moment.

When Jade landed next to Leyvi, she looked down at the chaos below and asked, “Mister Lapin, are you sure you can handle that snake alone? Although it only just evolved, the bloodline power it possesses cannot be underestimated.”

“Kekeke! I wonder about that myself. I haven’t had a proper chance to showcase my power ever since I evolved to General Level. That damn tree kept me cooped up for far too long. Consider this my long-overdue debut.” Lapin laughed, his voice light and full of playful confidence as it carried easily across the sky.

“However, Miss Jade, do not worry. I may not possess the greatest physical strength, but I have full confidence in my bloodline power. Not to mention, you have already exhausted a large portion of its energy. If I cannot take care of it, I will bring shame to my Celestial Cloud Bloodline. Kekeke.” Lapin continued, his tone light yet carrying unmistakable certainty.

“Then I am counting on you. Our Cloud Continent is fortunate to have an ally like you.” Jade expressed her gratitude sincerely.

Although she said she would leave the matter to Lapin, she had no intention of fully lowering her guard. The moment she sensed that Lapin might need assistance, she would move to support him without the slightest hesitation. Her residual energy was limited, but it would be enough for a single decisive intervention if required.

“Kekeke. You should thank Leyvi instead. Without him, I might not be here at all.” Lapin replied.

Boom!

Down below, the remains of the ice mountain finally shattered completely. Great slabs of frozen debris cracked and fell away as the king cobra broke free with a powerful, twisting spin of its massive body. The last remnants of Jade’s seal collapsed in a cascade of melting ice and rising steam.

It immediately sprayed its venom freely once more, thick streams pouring from every scale. Within moments a dense domain of venom formed around its body, swirling and expanding outward. Everything the venom touched melted or corroded without resistance, leaving only blackened, dissolving remains in its wake.

Inside its Venom Domain, the snake raised its head toward the enormous cloud above. Its deep red eyes, however, remained fixed solely on the figures of Leyvi and Jade. It paid no attention to the King Level creature that had come to aid the humans.

The beast no longer remembered that it had once been the spirit beast of a human cultivator. Only overwhelming hatred toward humans remained.

It arched its body backward and inflated, drawing in as much air as possible while concentrating its bloodline power deep within its throat cartilage. The air around it trembled under the gathering force. Then it released the most powerful hissing attack it could muster.

HISSSSSSS!

The venom surrounding the king cobra was blasted outward in every direction by the raw force of the hiss. The deadly mist expanded in a violent wave, racing across the land in less than a second. Within moments it had spread more than ten kilometers in every direction, turning the entire region into a silent land of death where nothing living could endure.

At the same time, the hiss produced such a powerful vibration that it not only shook the air but also caused the ground below to tremble intensely, as if a sudden and violent earthquake had struck the region. Trees toppled in the distance, and the already ruined landscape cracked further under the force.

Of course, this was merely a side effect.

The true goal of the attack was to incapacitate its targets through overwhelming sound vibrations and force them to fall into the sea of venom it had created.

However, the snake quickly realized something was wrong. The expected impact never came. Its most powerful strike had been swallowed without resistance.

“Kekeke! This snake is truly unlucky. My Celestial Cloud is a hard counter for both of its powers.” Lapin laughed.

Both the sound vibrations and the venom were absorbed by the thick layers of Lapin’s Celestial Cloud and completely neutralized within.

None of the attack managed to reach Leyvi and Jade, who remained safely riding on his back.

Leyvi was impressed. He already knew that Lapin’s clouds could absorb a variety of forces, but to fully absorb such destructive venom and neutralize it without a single trace remaining went far beyond what he had expected. The efficiency of it left him momentarily silent as he watched the deadly mist vanish into the soft white mass beneath them.

Seeing that its attack had failed completely, the king cobra became even more enraged. It immediately rose into the sky, determined to settle the matter through direct physical force.

Such a soft-looking, cloud-like creature could not possibly withstand the power of its massive body.

Mid-air, it opened its jaws as wide as possible, preparing to sink its fangs into Lapin and inject a fatal dose of venom directly into his body.

However, as it drew closer, clusters of cloud began to rise and gather with clear purpose. From every direction they surged inward and wrapped tightly around the snake’s body, layer after layer, binding it with steady, unyielding pressure.

Immediately, the king cobra’s movements became sluggish. As more and more clouds attached themselves to its enormous body, its speed dropped rapidly until it came to a complete stop in midair.

Not only that, even its terrifying Venom Domain was steadily absorbed by the clouds, cleansing the surrounding air of its deadly poison.

“Kekeke! Actually, you’re not as strong as I thought. Perhaps Miss Jade has already weakened you quite a bit. Well, time to end this!” Lapin laughed.

The king cobra struggled fiercely, twisting its enormous body and thrashing its tail with raw desperation in an attempt to break free. Muscles strained beneath its scales. The air itself seemed to tremble from the force of its resistance. Yet no matter how violently it fought, the clouds only clung tighter, refusing to release even a single coil.

With each passing moment, more clouds gathered around the snake, gradually concealing its massive form. Layer after layer settled over its body until the king cobra began to resemble its opponent completely, thick fluffy white covering it from head to tail and leaving almost nothing of its original shape visible.

Unfortunately for the snake, this was only the beginning.

“Infinity Cloud.”

Lapin’s voice rang out cheerfully.

Suddenly, the sky changed.

The enormous cloud that was Lapin began expanding at an unbelievable rate. Five kilometers became ten. Ten became fifty. Soon the entire sky was filled with an endless sea of pure white clouds that stretched beyond the horizon in every direction.

Jade’s eyes widened as she watched the spectacle unfold below. Even she, who had witnessed countless displays of power over the centuries, had never imagined that Lapin could produce such an absurd quantity of clouds in so short a time. The sheer scale of it left her momentarily speechless.

However, the most terrifying part was what happened next.

The countless clouds surged toward the king cobra from every direction, piling onto its body in thick, unyielding layers. They covered its scales, filled every gap between its coils, and wrapped tightly around its jaws until even its mouth was completely sealed.

Then the clouds began to move inward with slow, inexorable pressure, as if the sky itself had decided to crush whatever lay trapped within.

One layer after another forced its way beneath the outer layers, compressing itself into the snake’s body with relentless pressure. The king cobra’s enormous frame began to swell as more and more clouds poured into it, leaving no room whatsoever for its own form to move or even twitch.

The snake struggled desperately, but its movements grew weaker with every passing moment. What had once been powerful thrashing soon became little more than faint, futile tremors.

Its powerful muscles could no longer contract properly. Its enormous lungs could no longer draw in air. Even its bloodline power was being swallowed by the endless clouds, drained away until nothing remained for it to call upon. The last sparks of resistance flickered and died.

The king cobra had never imagined that it would be defeated in such a manner.

It had evolved into a King Level demonic beast and possessed a terrifying bloodline power. Its Venom Domain could turn an entire region into a land of death, while its hissing attack could shake the earth itself.

Yet against Lapin’s Celestial Cloud, none of those abilities mattered.

The snake’s body continued swelling as the clouds relentlessly poured into it. Its dark purple-black scales began to bulge outward, and fine cracks gradually appeared across their reflective surfaces, spreading like a web under impossible strain.

Crack!

Crack! Crack!

The cracks spread rapidly, covering its entire body. Its scales could no longer withstand the immense pressure building up inside.

Then Lapin chuckled.

“Kekeke! That’s enough stuffing for today!”

BOOOOOOM!

The king cobra exploded.

Its enormous body burst apart in midair with a deafening force, scattering chunks of flesh and shattered scales across the sky in a wide, violent arc. The remaining venom was instantly swallowed by the surrounding clouds before it could spread even a single meter, leaving behind nothing but a brief shower of debris that glittered darkly as it fell.

As the debris began drifting toward the ground, a small, dense object emerged from the collapsing clouds. It was the king cobra’s demonic beast core, still radiating a powerful and pure aura despite the complete destruction of its owner’s body.

A soft cloud gently wrapped around the core and carried it steadily back to Leyvi.

Jade found it almost unbelievable.

Lapin had defeated the King Level demonic snake so easily that it nearly looked effortless. A total domination.

His bloodline power was simply overwhelming. Was he truly at the same King Level as the snake, or did his Celestial Cloud Bloodline place him on an entirely different plane of strength? The gap between what she had just witnessed and what she expected from a fellow King Level being left her momentarily at a loss for words.

“Now let’s clean up this place. Free service from me. Kekeke.”

Once again, Lapin’s clouds spread across the entire area that had been contaminated by the venom. Pools and rivers of poison were all covered without exception, the white mass swallowing every last trace of the deadly liquid.

Minutes later, the clouds returned to Lapin. Every drop of venom had completely disappeared.

However, the land itself had been utterly devastated. Nothing remained standing. No trees. No grass. No animals. The once-living region now stretched out as a barren wasteland of blackened earth and broken stone. Every living being within the affected area had been wiped out without exception.

Jade let out a long, relieved sigh.

The venom that had filled the land would have been incredibly difficult to clean up entirely. Left alone, it would have made this place unsuitable for any form of life for a very long time, perhaps decades.

Thankfully, Lapin’s convenient clouds had completely neutralized every drop. With the poison gone, the land should be able to return to greenery again after some years of quiet recovery.

His clouds truly deserved to be called celestial.

A few moments later, a cold and sharp killing intent filled her jade eyes.

She would definitely get to the bottom of this matter and settle the score.

Whoever stood behind this attack, she would root them out entirely and leave nothing behind.
