Miriam spent a fair time of her childhood in the wilderness across Catheel, foraging, hunting and learning to cultivate the land for myriad purposes. With no communication beyond her mother, Miriam was taught from Cachusa's memory and re-instilled with manners of proper society. Admittedly this was overlooked when circumstance dictated, in times of defense against threat or on the hunt for flesh.
