We’re back with the next major update for ImmersiveSA.

This new Beta 2 build focuses heavily on stability, performance and overall visual polish. The goal was to refine everything introduced in the earlier versions and push the mod closer to its final look.

What’s new?

Better performanceIn a lot of spots the game now runs noticeably smoother - in some areas even around 30% faster. Should feel more consistent overall.

Improved cloudy weatherCloud colors during overcast weather now look cleaner and more natural. No more weird tones or washed-out skies.

Better godrays + bloomGodrays blend nicer with sunlight now, and the bloom isn’t as aggressive as before. Just a cleaner look in general.

Sky gradient banding fixedThe annoying banding in the sky is gone, so sunrises, sunsets, and night transitions look much smoother.

Thanks again to everyone supporting the project, testing builds, and sending feedback. If you run into any issues, feel free to message us directly.

Hello, I just subscribed to ImmersiveSA graphics. I have successfully installed it for single player. I am here to ask how to adjust the graphics so that it is not too dark at night. Mine is very dark at night even though the brightness settings in GTA San Andreas are full, but it is still dark. Then the second question, for the latest update, do you delete the old files, overwrite them, or reinstall them?

Hey! Glad to hear you got it installed. About the nights being too dark - could you send me a screenshot so I can see how it looks on your end? Just upload it to Imgur and drop the link here. It’ll be easier to figure out what’s going on once I can see the exact brightness. As for updates: you don’t need to delete anything. Just overwrite the old files with the new ones and you’re good.

hey, the preset looks fantastic on screenshots, but saly it has all the same bugs like dirextx3.0, for example textures turning completely green, flickering textures, wanted stars and other items being behind a black bar, and most of all, the complete effect going on and off from time to time or depending on camera angle... guess that's why it's also called beta... do you think you will be able to fix any of these bugs?
