This update features a commission artwork of a beagle girl.

She is a client’s fursona, and throughout the creation process she remained a memorable character with a gentle, expressive presence.

Her personality is usually bright and positive, with a slightly flirty side at times.

I portrayed her as a lively and curious girl who also carries a sense of grace and sincerity.

I personally love beagles, and I naturally associate them with an image that feels energetic yet calm, intelligent, and affectionate.

I’ve always found the way their long ears move in the wind especially charming, so I reflected that impression by drawing her with one ear gently lifted.

Since the hairstyle was left to my discretion, I considered long hair, but ultimately chose a shorter style to better highlight her ears.

The outfit was also left up to me.

What stood out immediately when reviewing her references was the unique patterning on her body and the care put into her design.

To showcase those markings—especially on her shoulders and thighs—I chose a swimsuit-inspired outfit that feels fresh and feminine, while keeping the overall design simple enough not to distract from her coat.

Some of the rounded markings were subtly adjusted so they follow the flow of the fur more naturally.

Knowing in advance that the client loves my way of rendering fur, I paid close attention to her expressions, textures, and markings to ensure her natural charm comes through ✨
