π Dw3D Workstation Update #5 π
We have a desktop.
After what feels like an eternity of troubleshooting, swapping hardware, rebuilding test benches, and chasing down possibilities, the workstation is finally back in Windows.
The system is still sitting on the test bench at the moment, but after replacing the final major component under suspicion, I was able to successfully boot back into the desktop.
I already have plans for the rest of tonight, so the full rebuild back into the case will begin first thing tomorrow morning. After that comes reconnecting drives, restoring drive mappings, testing software, and making sure everything is stable before I fully declare victory.
That said, for the first time in days, things are looking very promising.
As for content, I'm going to ease back into things a little differently than usual.
The first few projects I work on will be personal picks. After spending the better part of a week fighting hardware instead of creating, I want to spend a little time getting back into the groove and enjoying the process again.
Current plans are:
β’ MR Hela for G9 (Savage Queen)
β’ MR Black Cat for G8F (Wild Cat)
These will likely be the first projects moving through the pipeline as I get the workstation fully operational again.
Once I have a comfortable release buffer built back up, I will slowly begin reopening commissions. For now, I want to make sure I have content actively in development and content ready for the 2β3 day DAZ-ready release cycle that many of you have become accustomed to.
I want to thank everyone again for the support, patience, encouragement, and understanding throughout this whole ordeal. Your support allowed me to keep pushing forward, obtain replacement hardware, and ultimately get Dw3D moving again.
The workstation may have won a few battles this week, but I believe we're finally winning the war.
