Hi,

Following numerous updates to Reshade, RTGI, CSP, and more, I've been constantly postponing the release of Vision Reality 1.4.6, but it's finally available.

I recommend using it with Reshade, even though RTGI isn't necessary unless you want to get the most out of your graphics card.

The video is with Reshade and RTGI.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Installation:

What you will need:

Content Manager: https://assettocorsa.club/content-manager.html

Custom Shader Path (CSP): free version 0.2.11 (without rain effect) or 0.2.12 preview 1 (with rain effect) https://www.patreon.com/x4fab

Pure Gamma: https://www.patreon.com/peterboese

AC Vision Reality 1.4.6 include Reshade preset

For people who are just starting Assetto Corsa with mods I recommend this tutorial which explains to you how to install "Content Manager" "CSP" and "Pure"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22CbO5ISEGc

Copy the two folders "extension" and "system" found in AC Vision Reality 1.4.6.zip/rar to the root of the Assetto Corsa folder then launch Content Manager and follow the steps in numerical order as on the screen.

Note: Do not drag the .zip/.rar into Content Manager, install the ppfilter manually.

1 - Configure CSP in Content Manager

2 - Select AC Vision Reality 1.4.5 in Content Manager

____________________________________________________________

In-game configuration 1:

Open "Pure PP" and verify that the settings have been loaded correctly

The installation of Vision Reality remains unchanged. Some screenshots are from my old posts. However, I have updated some important screenshots.

If loaded correctly you should have this in the "Light" tab

If is not, click on "IMPORT" then load the "AC Vision Reality 1.4.6" file located in: X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config-ext\Pure\AC Vision Reality 1.4.6

____________________________________________________________

In-game configuration 2:

In game make sure the exposure is 100%

Then i strongly recommend that you open "Pure PP" -> "General" tab and try to change the color temperature values then the saturation because it also depends on the configuration of your screen and it can change a lot. My settings were made on a 4k QLed TV.

Example: screenshot 6500k temperature (default)

Screenshot 5500k temperature

Screenshot 7500k temperature

The auto-exposure may not load correctly, you just have to check "VAO Adaption" “AE + CBE” and put “5.500" in Target” and “0.500" in Mix” then save.

Optional: Neck FX and helmet

Neck FX: You must download the "AC head-physics" mod which is in version 2.2.3 to date which is available on OverTake (a free or paid account is required).

https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/ac-head-physics.68266/

Be careful, only apply my Neck FX parameters after installing the AC head-physics mod and above all make a backup of your parameters before any changes

https://acstuff.club/s/OZAe

Helmet: You will find the download link in the description of this video. I recommend the "VisorXForce_v1.0.5" version.

Reshade and preset installation: To be installed once "Content Manager" "CSP" and "Pure" are installed

For

1- Click on "Reshade_Setup_6.5.1" or "6.6.1" newest

2- Click on "Browse"

3- Search and select "acs" in X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa

4- Click on "Next"

5- Select "DirectX 10/11/12 then "Next"

6- Click on "Browse"

7- Select "AC Vision Reality preset" which is in "AC Vision Reality 1.4.5.zip/.rar" and you can put it in the root of the game "Assetto Corsa"

8- Reshade will automatically download and select the shaders I have enabled in the preset then click "Next"

9- Then "Finish"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Enable Reshade in-game

1- If the installation went well you should see a Reshade pop up when you launch the game

2- Once the game loads, press the "Home" key on your keyboard and you should see this then click on "skip tutorial"

3- You must have these shaders enabled automatically

4- Press "Esc" to close Reshade and you are ready to play.

Note: I recommend you change the key that opens the Reshade menu because the default one ("Home") also opens the game's "console" menu.

To change the Reshade menu key, do the following:

1- Open Reshade with the "Home" key and then go to the "Settings" tab

To improve performance with the RTGI shader, I advise you to add this command in Reshade:

in the first box: _MARTYSMODS_TAAU_SCALE

in the second box: DLSS_PERFORMANCE

Note:

If you encounter any problems, please take screenshots of your game with the "light" menu in "Pure Config" and Reshade if you use it, post them on this site or elsewhere, and send me a private message. Thanks in advance.

Enjoy !!

I’ve dabbled in and out of Vision Reality for some time, but this _may_ just be the final decider for me to switch from my other beloved PP filter to ACVR for good. This looks excellent!

Lordrubian94

ive just install the reshade but not all of the optioins are available and i would like to know wherer can i find the option for rtgi

Maximum Custom Games

You should have at least 13 shaders enabled in Reshade, as shown in my Reshade menu screenshot. If not, did you follow my tutorial to install Reshade? To get RTGI, you need to get the "Ray Tracer" from the Martys mods website: https://www.martysmods.com/patreon/

Phước

What is ACVR?

Phước

What is name's SKYDOMES you use?

Simon Dowdles

I got around to finally trying this out and I am getting an error that the pp filter has no Pure script? Latest Pure 3.0 and latest CSP preview. Selected AC Vision Reality 1.4.6 from filter in settings > AC > video. Also missing the import button entirely. Any help appreciated.

Jorgias

Is it optimized for the newest csp v.0.3.0 en pure?

darcin davis

which version of rtgi should i use

Maximum Custom Games

I recommend the "iMMERSE Pro_2506" version, the "iMMERSE Pro_2509" version is less interesting. My last preset contains the settings for these 2 versions

darcin davis

mine feels a lil extra grainy or a lil more sharper than it needs to be. How do i fix this?

Maximum Custom Games

If you are using Reshade with my preset, open the Reshade menu and then uncheck "Filmgrain", "Zenteon Local Contrast" and "Zenteon Sharpen".

darcin davis

does this work well with pure 3.0?
