I know I say it all the time, but especially with events this ridiculous, I'm inclined to repeat myself: thank you guys for being here and supporting the channel. The CatGhost video has been considered "not suitable for most advertisers" after manual review--and I'm thinking that manual review lasted maybe two minutes long, because there is no objectionable content or community guidelines challenges in this video.

I also just spoke to a live YouTube rep who was barely helpful at all, parroting the information from any "help" source you can get online and offering no specific information to tell me why, somehow, my video is "offensive" to advertisers.

I won't lie about it--YouTube is getting worse. It's been bad for awhile and has slowly shown more and more of its intent to cripple the people who make it successful, but now, it's really going as far as to cut off its own nose to spite its face. You guys are the only reason I can feel remotely safe in the face of this site run by idiotic automated systems that leave people feeling betrayed for all their hard work and guideline adherence.

Thanks again, everyone. Back to October work, despite YouTube's monetization stupidity.

YouTube is getting way worse. I mean when I first heard of people making a living off of YouTube I immediately said that people should diversify their income because it wasn't going to last.

I hate that this is happening, I'm glad to be able to support you,you keep making your great content and I'll keep supporting come hell or high water

At this point I dont think YouTube can understand itself.

I don't even understand how they qualify what's suitable for "most" advertisers. I've seen condom commercials and graphic ads for horror movies before YT videos,; obviously they have plenty of mature-oriented advertisers at their disposal.

The world is cracking down on bullying, so since your platform is more well known than the original author, the beginning name calling is probably what sent up a flag. So that channel might be in the hot seat, too. But, yeah, fuck them. You will always have supporters. And I hold true to my promise that as soon as I get a job I'll be able to give more. The interview yesterday was promising so fingers crossed! <3

You are, by far, my favorite creator on YouTube. If you change platforms, I will damn well follow you.

Like a commenter who thinks you're the coolest person ever, I'll be seeing you again....real soon.

This is exactly why I bust my ass at a crap job every week. So I can earn a little more scratch so that I can support the creators that I believe in, and maybe even become a content creator one day. Sort of gives you pause though doesn't it?

I'm so sorry they are being obnoxious, Nick! I can't imagine what they could have found so objectionable about Catghost, unless this mysterious Skinwalker figure is the CEO of YouTube or something....

If Youtube wasn't such a monopoly, it wouldn't get away with half the crap that's been happening lately. You'll always have us, for what it's worth.

I'm very happy to help out. You provide great content that gets me passionate about works of art out there I otherwise would not have known about, and that deserves some praise as well as the means needed to keep going.

Do you get any revenue from YouTube Red subscribers? I don't see ads anymore but I wonder if they bother passing the money along.

The biggest fear i have with youtube currently is how it is shooting down amazing content creators like yourself, i'm more than happy to support you as i genuinely love your content and want to see more, but with the way youtube is it's stopped being about the creators, and is more about the money, we're all here to support you because we love what you do!

You might think about PMing larger channels who have had issues that they were able to resolve by moving up the chain of command and get that contact info. Maybe if you take it beyond the peon level you can get some quality answers/help.
