Lasagna Cat: Ego Stripping for a Fractured Psyche

There's no better way to kickstart Cabin Fever Dreams than with this recently revived monstrosity. Lasagna Cat is an entertainment acid trip you didn't know you wanted... and didn't know would hurt so much.

Yaasss. I'm about to go on break at work and I need #saltyNick in my life.

I can't believe you found 38 minutes of analysis in Lasagna Cat. Bravo! Can't wait to see what you give us next.

Well, my mind is thoroughly blown. There's something absolutely fascinating about the nature of a project like Lasagna Cat, and I have to say that interpreting a self-insert character in the way it appeared to is really cool. I can't wait to see what fever dream you have in store for us next. Oh, and I have to say, the ending made me laugh out loud. ^_^

Do you know anything about this OurMine thing that is changing YouTube video titles and descriptions? Is it just an April Fools' joke?

Edward Clayton Andrews

Good work, Nick. A lot of people miss FF flagging Jon's self insert nature.

Nice. I hadn't actually watched Lasagna Cat before. Spent a good hour or two watching all the old and new content, as well as the side channels, before continuing with your video. You made some good sense of it. Have to say, I'm just damned impressed with the long-range view of all this content and, as you say, the complete lack of ROI on it for them.

(Also, I love the character work on Garfield and Odie. The difference between their YouTube channels. Garfield has very eclectic interests but doesn't seem to go too deep with any of them. He's also just very... of an era. While Odie's channel is mostly just tech demos mostly, showing his keen interest in developing his skills trying out FX, with a progression towards The Final Battle. Just struck me as very typical of that kind of friendship at that age - the friend who's more "cool" and posts tons of videos to try to be like the cool YouTubers, and who hangs out and does stuff with the more disciplined, hardworking friend, who's quieter and just trying to get his thing done)
