Welcome to the first release of AGT GAMEPLAY (BETA V1). As this is a beta project and my first major foray into core gameplay modding, I have made this mod completely free for now. I want everyone to have the chance to test it, play with it, and see if this new approach to simulation matches your taste. Your feedback is essential as I refine these mechanics.

This mod represents a total realism transformation, meticulously designed to turn the arcade-style base game into a methodical, high-stakes football simulation. By overhauling every critical physics and logic file, I have created a "brand-new game" feel where every pass, tackle, and strike carries physical weight and requires genuine skill. The "ice-skating" physics are gone; in this version, every action has authentic inertia and consequence. Whether you are battling in a congested midfield or lining up a clinical strike, you will feel a grounded, physical experience that respects the laws of modern professional football.

If you want to use the mod, please set the gameplay to Competitive for now. Support for Authentic gameplay will be added in the next update.

1. Dribbling, Movement & Physical Weight

The goal is to move away from "ice-skating" physics. Every action now has weight, inertia, and physical consequence.

Authentic Weight and Inertia: Players turn less sharply at high speeds and have longer stop distances. You must let go of the sprint button to make sharp turns, mirroring real-life movement.

Natural Speed Building: Removes the "arcade burst." Explosivity is earned; players build speed naturally, making the first step feel heavy and realistic.

Physical First Touches: The ball is a separate physical object, not "glued" to feet. First touches are more challenging under pressure, and spinning in circles is no longer effortless.

Punishing Injury Impact: Injured players remaining on the pitch feel significantly slower and more hampered, adding a tactical layer to substitutions.

Fixing "Ping-Pong" Dribbling: You can no longer instantly zig-zag. You must commit to a direction, and a missed tackle means the defender will "fly past" the attacker.

Elite Player Identity: World-class midfielders like Rodri or De Bruyne feel "smarter" because they react to loose balls and transitions significantly faster than average players.

2. AI Attacking Intelligence & Lethality

The AI is no longer passive or "robotic." It plays like a high-level human player who exploits your mistakes.

Visionary Playmaking: The AI identifies "killer balls" and through-ball opportunities that split your defense, especially when it recognizes a defender is caught out of position.

Aggressive Wing Play: AI wingers are "braver." They no longer hesitate at the corner of the box; they will deliver dangerous crosses into 1v1 or 2v2 situations immediately.

Human-like Variance: The AI reacts faster to your defensive gaps but will also occasionally misplace a risky pass, creating a more unpredictable and realistic match flow.

Intinctive Shot Decision: The AI no longer waits for a "perfect 10" shot. It will test your keeper from distance or tight angles and commits to the shot the moment a window opens.

Lethal Shot Power: AI power curves are increased beyond the original "speed cap," allowing elite strikers to hit the ball with terrifying professional-grade velocity.

3. AI Defensive Intelligence & Marking

Removes artificial handicaps, making the AI proactive and "sticky" in their marking.

Tightened Contain Logic: Defenders give attackers significantly less space in the box, forcing a more physical battle for every yard.

Body Position Mastery: AI defenders constantly adjust their body position based on the ball’s speed and direction, making them harder to beat with simple sprints.

Human-Like Tackling: High-skill defenders are clinical, while low-tier ones will hesitate or lunge from too far away, allowing you to "bait" the AI into mistakes.

No More "Super-Lunges": Defenders can no longer "snap" their legs out 90 degrees while sprinting. If they commit too hard, you can realistically dribble around their tiny lateral reach.

The "Elite" Aura: Playing against a top-tier team feels vastly different. Elite defenders will track your runs the second you move and proactively step into your dribbling lanes.

4. Clinical Shooting & Finesse Overhaul

Removes "floaty" shots and "magnetic" assistance, rewarding manual precision and timing.

Explosive Power Curves: High-power shots feature a non-linear curve for a significant "sting" on the ball, ensuring a perfectly timed strike feels earned.

Manual Mastery: Aiming assistance is drastically reduced. The game stops "correcting" your aim, forcing you to point the stick exactly where you want the ball to go.

Visual Finesse Authenticity: Finesse shots rise and dip in smooth, beautiful arcs without the "glitchy" floor-dropping bug.

Massive Visual Curve: Spin intensity is doubled, ensuring the ball visibly curls around the keeper with "aesthetic bite".

Momentum Based Power: Shooting while sprinting or turning maintains momentum realistically, while poor balance or extreme face-angles result in natural loss of power.

5. Physicality, Defense & "Protect Ball"

Strength and weight finally matter. Shielding is a skill, not a "cheat".

Strength Hierarchies: A small winger will be physically overpowered almost immediately by a "tank" center-back. Strength attributes are now a core pillar of the physical battle.

No More "Shield Spam": Shielding now has a realistic "wind-up" delay. Timing your brace is critical; if you do it too late, the defender will poke the ball away.

Dynamic Fatigue: Physical resistance crumbles after a few seconds of intense shielding pressure, preventing players from holding the ball in the corner forever.

Manual Block Reach: Auto-blocking is nerfed to stop the "brick wall" AI feel. Instead, the reach for blocks is significantly increased when you are actively controlling the player.

Authentic Tackling Scrambles: Hard tackles send the ball flying into space rather than "magnetizing" to the feet, creating unpredictable second-ball battles.

6. Set-Pieces & Aerial Combat

Removes the "scripted" feel of crosses and corners, replacing them with weighted physics.

Weighted Service: Crosses and corners have natural height and visual curl. Travel times are increased to remove the "bullet" feel, allowing for realistic defensive reaction times.

Manual Crossing Mastery: You must choose the right delivery (Loopy, Normal, or Driven) for the situation. The ball no longer lands perfectly on a striker's head every time.

Living Set-Pieces: Players no longer stand like "statues" during free kicks. They constantly shift, jostle for position, and check their shoulders, creating a live atmosphere.

High-Impact Headers: Header accuracy and power are increased, making scoring from the air a viable and rewarding tactical option.

7. Rules, Officiating & Match Flow

Referees are smarter, and the match atmosphere matches a high-stakes broadcast.

Logical Officiating: Dangerous slide tackles result in cards, while high-intensity shoulder challenges are allowed, creating a true "midfield battle".

Collision Sensitivity: Minor disruptive bumps and off-the-ball interference are now penalized, forcing a more disciplined defensive approach.

"Fergie Time" Whistle: The referee will no longer blow the whistle while the ball is moving toward the goal or during a dangerous corner in the dying seconds.

Cinematic Transitions: Post-goal and post-match delays are extended to allow big moments and player reactions to breathe, enhancing match authenticity.

8. The "Sweeper Keeper" Overhaul

Goalkeepers are proactive, athletic, and persistent.

Aggressive Recovery: Keepers commit to the ground faster to stop low-driven shots and recover from dives with professional urgency.

Far Post Defense: Goalkeepers now actively defend the far post, a feature previously disabled in the base game.

Athletic Saves: Fingertip saves and spectacular second-efforts are more common, as the keeper's physical model has more license to contest balls in the top corners.

Smarter Distribution: Foot-passing and throw speeds are slowed down to match the mod's weighted ball physics.

In summary, AGT GAMEPLAY (BETA V1) achieves a simulation experience where you are in total control, the AI is a formidable and creative opponent, and the physical laws of football are strictly respected. This mod transforms the game into a deep tactical challenge:

Methodical Passing: You must be deliberate with your inputs as ground passes now lose speed naturally across the grass.

Lethal AI: The CPU will actively hunt for "killer balls" and punish your defensive gaps with professional-grade shot power.

Manual Skill: Success now relies on your ability to time braces, aim manual strikes, and track runs without "magnetic" assistance.

Atmospheric Flow: The match breathes with realistic referee logic that understands "Fergie Time" and allows big moments to unfold naturally.

While I have documented the core pillars of this overhaul, there may be minor technical features and value adjustments present in the gameplay that I missed in my notes. As this is BETA V1, your input is essential—if you have suggestions or notice something is off, please don't hesitate to leave a comment to help shape the future of AGT Gameplay.

Which settings is this intended to be played on, authenticity or competitive? Sliders all default 50 or some alterations?

AGT - AGT ALL IN ONE MANAGER PLAYER CAREER TWEAK

Hey there! Sorry about this, but only the competitive mode is affected for now. Authentic gameplay is coming soon—I forgot to include the necessary file in the authentic settings folder! Regarding sliders: even though the game menu says 'Default,' I have completely rewritten the core gameplay logic and physics in the underlying files. This means the '50' you see on the sliders now represents my new Total Realism standard—including weighted ball physics, smarter AI, and authentic inertia—rather than the arcade-style values of the original game.
