⚠️ Important Notes Before Using
NEVER PLAY YOUR SAVE FILE WITHOUT THE MOD.
If FC 27 receives a new title update, it is best not to update the game immediately until a compatible version of this mod is available. Playing your save without the mod, or using an incompatible game/mod version, may cause Career Mode issues. For general news, support, and information about the mod, you can check my Patreon.
If this is your first time using my mod, please start a new career. DO NOT USE IT ON AN EXISTING SAVE FILE. However, if you are already using my mod in your current save, you do not need to start a new career—you can continue playing normally.
This mod uses custom XP, player growth, progression, finances, morale, and squad logic. If you apply it to an existing save that never used this mod before, some player overall ratings (OVR) may decrease or behave strangely because the game is suddenly reading a completely different progression system.
Starting a fresh career will always provide the cleanest and best experience.
V1.3 CHANGELOG
1. Compatibility With the Latest FC 27 Update
2. Reworked Player Growth and Development
Completely rebalanced player growth curves using the AGT development system.
Players now experience more gradual development instead of reaching their peak too early.
Adjusted the peak development period to approximately 33–36 years old.
Introduced a clearer distinction between growth, peak, stagnation, and decline.
Players maintain their peak for two consecutive growth points before entering the decline phase.
Preserved six different growth profiles to allow players to develop at different speeds.
Improved growth calculations to address a stability issue encountered during long-term Career Mode testing.
3. More Realistic Veteran Decline
Reworked aging to prevent older players from losing too much overall rating in a short period.
Reduced the excessively steep decline immediately after age 36.
Extended aging curves through 38, 42, 45, and 48 years old.
Older players can continue declining beyond age 40 rather than remaining indefinitely at their previous level.
Adjusted decline patterns by position, allowing goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and attackers to age differently.
Veteran players can remain useful for longer while gradually losing their abilities as they grow older.
4. Improved Youth Academy Trait Generation
Rebalanced the number of traits generated for newly scouted youth players.
Youth trait generation distributions now start at a minimum of four trait selections.
Young players can still generate five, six, or seven traits depending on the scouting probabilities.
Improved trait distribution across scouting tiers.
Goalkeeper youth trait generation has also been adjusted.
5. Rebalanced Board Evaluation and Job Security
Reduced overly harsh board reactions when managers narrowly miss ambitious objectives.
Finishing near the top of the league or making a respectable European competition run is less heavily penalized.
Improved the balance between maintaining high expectations and recognizing strong overall performances.
Previous season performance now influences board confidence for longer at the beginning of the following season.
Adjusted job security assessments to reduce excessive pressure early in the season.
Managers can still face consequences for sustained poor performances and consistently missing important objectives.
6. Improved Club Finances and Transfer Budgets
Rebalanced transfer income allocation to reduce excessively harsh deductions from player sales.
Improved the percentage of transfer proceeds available to clubs with lower profitability ratings.
Adjusted next-season transfer budget calculations to better reward successful seasons.
Improved budget carryover thresholds and selected budget limits.
Reduced situations where clubs achieve strong financial results but receive disproportionately small transfer budgets.
Preserved financial consequences for poor management and overspending.
7. Improved Player Morale and Squad Happiness
Rebalanced player happiness to reduce unrealistic complaints about limited playing time.
Increased tolerance for reasonable squad rotation, especially during congested schedules.
Adjusted starting morale and contract satisfaction for newly signed players.
Reduced excessive dissatisfaction caused by occasional bench appearances or missed matches.
Improved morale recovery through playing time and team performances.
Adjusted wage expectations to make contract-related happiness more reasonable.
Players can still become unhappy when consistently overlooked or poorly managed.
8. Development Plan Adjustments
Reviewed development plan balance across different positions.
Expanded training attribute coverage for strikers and goalkeepers.
Adjusted selected development plans to help address premature progression limitations.
