Content

Howdy folks, and thank you for being here! December is gonna be a bit of a content rollercoaster, but I promise the drop is worth it.

Getting in Line

So quick updates before we get on the roller coaster! November saw some interesting releases. Early in the month, I released the Path of the Bioadvent! A Barbarian subclass that leans on powerful mutations inspired by Resident Evil’s Tyrants. It was then followed up by a big D&D duel between Kamen Riders Build and Double!

The Climb

So, let’s get on this ride. I’ve got two major things happening, one good and one bad. Let’s get the bad one out of the way. Lately, I’ve been feeling the hints of burnout. My last 4 videos didn’t perform the way I’d hoped, and it’s tough considering all the effort (and sleepless nights) I put into them. Even the Build vs Double video didn’t land as hard as I expected it to. I’m doing mostly ok, but it’s certainly beginning to take its toll.

The second big thing is some good news! MC and I will be going on vacation! Wait, wait, don’t jump off the roller coaster, that’s only half the story!

We’ll only be out for around two weeks, from November 29 to December 16. But that doesn’t mean I’ll leave you guys high and dry! I set up some stuff to get you folks ready for the big drop at the end of December!

The Peak

The view from up here is… ok, real talk, I’m actually afraid of heights, so I’m glad we’re not actually in a roller coaster.

I’ve got two things lined up for the first two weeks of December. The first is a little treat from me. Soon, I’ll send out a 37% discount ‘cos it’s my birthday! Don’t ask why it’s 37% though. The discount is applicable to all shop items, valid until the end of December!

Unfortunately, the discount is for Ko-Fi only due to some limitations on Patreon. But you don’t need to make an account to purchase with the discount!

The second thing is a compilation of ALL my Kamen Rider Build subclasses! This is also to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of my original Kamen Rider Build homebrew. It’s cheaper than purchasing them individually, so as a birthday gift to me, I hope you folks check out the video when it goes live!

The Big Drop

But all of this is really just to prepare you for my biggest homebrew yet!

On December 27, I’ll be releasing the MASSIVE Kamen Rider D&D homebrew! I’ve been teasing bits and pieces of it in recent community posts to give you an idea, but it really doesn’t show how much content is in this thing.

This homebrew has so much content for both DMs and players. For the former, you’ll have all the elements you need to set up an Ex-Aid-inspired setting. It has rules for the Bugster virus (down to its effects and progression), faction details, and a comprehensive guideline to create your own Bugsters using any existing stat block!

Of course, players will have A LOT of stuff as well! The factions I mentioned let you join Ex-Aid’s CR task force to combat the Bugster epidemic, become part of Genm Corp’s game devs, or ally yourself with the Bugsters and fight for their right to exist!

But it’s not all narrative stuff. The homebrew will include new species options, like free-roaming Bugsters like Graphite or revived Bugsters like Kiriya “Merry Christmas” Kujo! I’ve got a few backgrounds planned as well, and with backgrounds come feats! Even ones you can gain from joining certain factions.

This homebrew wouldn’t be complete without letting you play as Ex-Aid’s heroes. And one of the biggest chapters happens to contain A LOT of magic items, from drivers to Gashats! I’ll try to incorporate as much as I can, but rest assured, all the stuff from the main series (and True Ending Trilogy) will be included. I might add more post-series content later on, especially once I get to certain talented gods.

Be sure to check out the link in the video’s description when it goes live to find the Ex-Aid homebrew! I’ll also hint at a big 50% discount in the video, so please check it out when it’s out!

This is also a good time to mention that I’ll be focusing on more Kamen Rider stuff next year. I’ll still release some non-Rider content every now and then, like maybe a Jinwoo Sung subclass, but the release of Ex-Aid gives me a lot of stuff to work with. I also want to revisit Geats and make individual subclasses at some point, so look forward to that!

End of the Ride

Hey, before you go, I wanna invite you to our community of like-minded mallards! It gives a lot of perks like early access, exclusive subclasses, and even some sneak peeks in our members-only Discord. But honestly, I’m just happy you rode that roller coaster with me.

Until next time, my wife and I hope you have a great day ahead!
