jamaraz unreleased #25: 'Whoever I Wanna Be' (Patreon)

Here's that song I made with the DIY drum kit I was on about a few weeks ago!

Basically the whole idea behind this song is that Sammy (the character from the song) is a real guy and he has his own little music project, and this song is one of his songs! I've already written a few more that I'm going to record, and eventually I'll release them on streaming services but under the name Sammy Phase (that's his stage name) and not RJ, just to feed into the illusion that this is a completely separate real person! That's also why I'm doing a bit of an American accent while singing.

It's just a little idea for a side project to keep things interesting. For now though, keep this between you and me! :-)

Lyrics:

It's my birthday, I didn't think you realized
When you spat in my face it went in my eyes
I'm a real boy, you don't even know me
Are you a real girl?
Maybe you should show me

Hey buddy do you wanna swap organs?
I could use 'em, use 'em, use 'em right now
Hey buddy did you know that it's my birthday
I'd celebrate it but my friends are out of town
My friends are out of town

7:55, my clock is ticking double time
I don't wanna be a soldier standing in a line
They won't accept me 'cause I'm not who I say I am
I'll be whoever the fuck I wanna be
Whoever I wanna be

Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
Yeah
