He's only died once - he was just rambling last episode which confused yall!! Cid is our lovable idiot

PsyrinCall

the intro to the new world was Thrust with Cid having Grown up Alpha and Everyone didn't help either in EP 1

Random

This is all good fun. This series is pure satire, so laughter is the honest response. Taylor is correct the first 7 girls are named Alpha, Beta, Gama, Delta, Epsilon, Eta, and Zeta.

Michelle Hollamon

Claire isn't, to my knowledge, a reincarnation of the girl he saved in Episode 1. They just look a lot alike.

Michelle Hollamon

Edit to my OG comment: Cid is the definition of the phrase "Task Failled Successfully."

PsyrinCall

Just to Clarify, Cid isn't telling himself he is just Background Character he is Acting like one. he even say's he lets his sister have the spot light when growing up, thats the point of that little Sparing session with his Sister He really was that Fast Compared to His Sister Perception. (Hence her Grabbing her neck like a phantom Pain.)

TKOhhh

Think that’s where we got a little confused but this ep cleared it all up 😎

TKOhhh

That hallway scene was too good haha

Shadowmist909

You guys are getting it. The misunderstandings in this episode are great examples of this shows sense of humor.

Michelle Hollamon

Yeah, expect him to keep doing the right things for the wrong reasons a lot. It's funny and stays that way, kinda like Batman vibes, if Batman were the world's most oblivious crime-fighter and primarily spent all his focus on his day persona.

Thamor

How you react to this anime, I know 100% that you guys would love to watch "Cautious Hero" (12ep long). It's good comedy if you ever feel like taking a chance with this anime.

TKOhhh

we might have to add it to our list for a future poll 👀

Matthew Voss

The dub sounded familiar because it's Adam Gibbs.

Shany

when they were sparring, when the time stopped, he was showing that he could do that if he wanted to, but he wouldn’t cuz he’s just a “background character” lol

TKOhhh

Ahhh yes just a background character mhmmmmm.

wiski

I really don't think they were going for 'this is a self insert character', that's not what Cid is. That's an intentional persona he is attempting to portray, not who he actually is like in other shows with self inserts.
