I'm sorry for spoiling Skel's last name! I didn't intend to lessen possible future enjoyment! Also, I believe, the 24 refers to either 24 more side character things to do during the tournament, or 24 more Zeni (Zenni?) either way, I'm fairly certain it's fairly dumb. Edit: feel free to ignore the "Also" and everything after it. I still apologize for spoiling Skel's last name, and to be frank, I didn't even catch it, I went and looked it up... so prior to when you brought it up, I didn't know. Now, also note, I didn't know Po's last name was Tato, I only caught it in the subtitles... so, I could've also missed it when I watched. Point being, I'm still sorry and was honestly clueless and that became carelessness... I'm sorry.

Most of the time when people refer to a character as a psychopath its an exaggeration. But in Cid's case its really accurate, he fits the dsm diagnostic criteria for aspd to a tea. Read it if you don't believe me: https://psychiatryonline.org/doi/10.1176/pn.39.1.0025a Cid is a really well written character, when most characters are dense about the plot like he is its usually just lazy writing. But Cid being dense about the plot makes perfect sense for his character when you understand his sheer lack of empathy and apathy towards anything he doesn't see as being related to him becoming an "eminence in shadow".

I think the things he “comes up with” actually already exist and he just has 99 luck and charisma. But maybe I’m wrong and he is subconsciously manipulating the reality of his world without realizing it. Idk if it’s ever confirmed one way or the other.

It's never really clarified but since his original story he told Alpha was taken from a legend that happened to be true, my guess is he isn't creating the plot around him but merely used real information that he thought was fake. He thinks all the cult of diablos plot was a lie he created, but it wasn't. He is clinically insane, as we saw when he was bashing his head on the rock yelling "magic" before he got isekai'd by truck-kun.

Yeah, he was quite familiar with typical fantasy tropes from his Eminence in Shadow research, so he spinned the story based on them. And tropes are tropes because they are common, so his story turning out to be (vaguely) true is not that crazy xD
