I've already watched this show, but I only remembered there being 1 season. I remembered all the cool moments from this season, but thought they'd all be in season 1. So, the whole time through season 1, there were a bunch of awesome moments I kept waiting for that just never came. Which means... They're all coming up in this season. Look forward to it!

Episodes 2 is a bit oddly placed. Realistically, those events should have been shown during season 1, but obviously they didn't know if they would get a season 2, so they cut a few things that were essential. It does make season 2's pacing a bit weird, but it's not too bad.

So, the 2 heroes; A girl already acquainted with Makoto, She seems intelligent and rational, An overachiever, with (apparently) minimal effort, which might develop into an ego. Had a pretty conventional start to her isekai, with no reason to doubt the goddess, aside from her own personal skepticism. General enhanced stats, and a wolf summon. A boy of roughly the same age and socioeconomic circumstance (possibly acquainted with the others, maybe a different school, unconfirmed), Meek, weak-willed, and insecure, Shown to possess isekai power-trip ideations. Wields immense power which could prove to either be a beneficial curse, or a dangerous blessing, depending on further developments. Bribed and manipulated by the goddess to inspire full trust, but his handler who continues to manipulate him is shown to despise the goddess. Loyalty pending handler's actions. General enhanced stats, can fly, can seduce people with his gaze, and cannot be killed at night.

Craziest bit of episode 2 to me is that the goddess did Makoto dirty cause he was ugly, but she demonstrated here that her power can let her just change someone's appearance whenever she wants anyway, so if Makoto was so hideous she literally could've just made him pretty and had a third hero.

Finally current with the episode your on and im gonna say i love Makota but he simply cant hold a candle to Rimuru. Makota's 2 proficiencies alone are literally Rimuru day 1 level immunities. I will leave it at that. Side Note if you ever check out the slime webnovel Rimuru original character was suppose to have a IDGAF dark side like Makota when the fragment died, when Shion died. Fan support changed that whole scene by the time the manga and LN came around

The Goddess found easy marks, then called them in and worked them over, all like fish on hooks. Hibiki's team did everything in their power and only succeeded in scoring 3 hits against the black spider. Compare that with Makoto's performance. Then there's the male hero, and a princess who wants to destroy everything related to the Goddess gets her hands on him fast....
