Hi everyone!

I hope you’re all having a great weekend – I’ve got some exciting news today!

The Lone Wanderer is officially launching on Amazon (Kindle Unlimited + Audible) on November 12th!

I’ve partnered with Mountaindale Press, which means that the series is getting the full professional treatment: several rounds of editing, formatting, the awesome cover art by Sergio Chaves that you’ve already seen, and narration by the amazing Austin Rising (who’s done an incredible job bringing the story to life in a whole new way)!

Because Kindle Unlimited requires exclusivity, Book 1 (Ch. 1-116) will be removed from elsewhere on November 11th (that includes Royal Road, Scribble Hub and Patreon), so please make sure you’ve read up to that point before then.

Book 2+ will remain here for a while longer, and I’ll always notify you well in advance before any part of the story gets taken down, but it’s not a bad idea to check for announcements at least once every couple of months if you’re not already staying up to date with the most recent chapters.

I know that stubbing isn’t ideal, but writing TLW is now my full-time job, and this move helps the series reach the widest possible audience while supporting its continued growth.

This is basically how we can continue getting amazing covers, polished books and expertly narrated audiobooks for the rest of the series, which I’m super excited about – because it’s going to be a loooooooong one!

The Amazon release is the same story you know, just polished and refined. If you’d like to reread – to freshen up on any fuzzy details that you might have forgotten, or want to experience it in a new way, or you want to support me at this crucial time in my career (wink wink xD), please consider reading the definitive version on Amazon when it’s out.

You can pre-order Book 1 here.

Thanks again for all your support – I wouldn’t have made it this far without each and every one of you!

P.S. I polled free patrons a few days ago asking them whether they would prefer that I move the free Patreon chapters (2 ahead of Royal Road) back to Royal Road, and people were overwhelmingly in favour of that.

I’m not going to make the change immediately because I’m busy with other things right now, and I’ve also got more Patreon changes planned (getting rid of the duplicate chapters, grouping everything into collections for easier navigation), but keep in mind that I’ll be looking toward doing this in November.

Again, this is ONLY for the FREE Patreon chapters – the paid Patreon chapters will stay here. I’m doing this to stop splintering the comment sections and discord channels into too many places. It sucks that free patrons can’t discuss the story with people on Royal Road just due to being 2 chapters apart.

I disagree with moving the free patrion to roial road just from a monetization perspective. It helps with selling so mutch when there's an incentive to come to patrion even if you dont want to buy anything. It makes the steps less daunting.

Any chance we get a finalized version of the Book 1 epub for being patrons?

Congratulations! Its always good to see another author move towards monetary success.

Happy for you, mate. Congratulations. Any plans to release a limited edition hardcover/paperback version? Would love to have some collectibles of banger web novels at home.

Any chance of an audiobook? That’s normally how I get my reading fix

I wonder if going to Amazon will bring you more income than keeping the Book 1 chapters on Patreon where supporters pay continuously. It will certainly be in the way of new readers discovering your work if they find it on RR starting Ch. 117. and open to new readers and listeners on Kindle. So I hope the new platform offsets the drawbacks. Anyway, if you're happy with the move, congratulations are in order 🙂 . It certainly is an acknowledgment of your hard work.

Are we going to see a physical book?

DagNabItAll

Damn, I thought putting free users on a plan a couple chappies ahead was an incredibly good idea. It's easier them for them upgrade when they are already in Patreon, figured you would get more convertions that way.

Thanks for the heads up!

Congratulations! Hopefully the book finds a lot of success. Unrelated, but I did have some questions about the more recent chapters. What is going on with Percy and his ice channels? Does everyone just have the potential to open up every type of channel? And do these channels connect to Percy's cores, just go around them, or pass through them like they don't exist? I'm also wondering if this same mana passing trick can be pulled off on regular clones. Definitely not as fast, with just a single open cord. The idea has made me really curious.

Well done honestly been a long way !!!

Fazfazfaz

Nice! Ill definitely buy a copy

Will there be a lot of edits? Not just grammar but lore related stuff? I’ll still buy the kindle book to support you, but need to decide if I read it now or later, once the beginning of the story fades from memory a bit more.

Sheldeen Walker

I found this book when I was on deployment I fell in love with it I hope you make more books remember the name WALKER because I’ll always be behind you and this book I can’t wait until the anime comes because I know it’s coming. Ohhh any other book you drop please let us know. Quick question what I didn’t get though when they remove the 1-116 will we still be getting our daily episode drops?

Congratulations on the book! Great to see you publishing your work after all the work you put in it🎉

Congrats! Been a fan since this novel was introduced and let it cook for a few months. Oh boy I wasn't disappointed by the Michelin writing! Though it sad that I won't be able to read the comments in book 1, they're a lot of fun people in roualroad

Ledski

Congratulations! You absolutely deserve it. I've been hooked since the first chapters and you manage to keep that interest every single chapter. The only criticism I can possibly make is that the story sorely need a glossary of skills, people and other miscellanious info due to the sheer size of the world we now have. Good luck with your book and here's hoping for many more!

Hmm... If you don't mind me asking another question, how does ambient mana and normal mana regeneration work? A mage breathes in air, passes the ambient mana in that air to their core, and converts it into their own mana. Is that ambient mana made up of a random mix of affinities, with the composition based on location? What is the grade of ambient mana? How efficient is the conversion process? How does all of this change when a mage advances grades? A mage's mana capacity never increases, but their mana contains three times as much energy as it did in the grade before. Doesn't that mean the mage needs to suck in three times as much ambient mana to fill their core? Does increasing in grade allow a mage to pull in more ambient mana, or maybe it makes the process more efficient? What is the limit on all this? Do whites or demigods have diminishing returns, because they reach the point where they are already converting as much ambient mana as there is available, so advancing doesn't improve their regen, because there just isn't any more mana available for them? Thank you for any answers you can give.

Welp there is no way for percy to win or escape.
