I got so happy when I saw Brazilian Miku was pretty much everywhere in the internet, it was also during a time that I had just gotten back to US from a trip to Brazil to see my family, so my heart was missing my country, family, and friends very much, and drawing this piece sure made my heart warm hehe. Miku saved the day once again!Well, anyways, about the piece:I was making it while doing a livestream on Insta, and there were a lot of Brazilians participating on the design as well, we agreed to remove a few things on the design most people were drawing Brazilian Miku in (such as the flower, because yes ofc Brazil has flowers but it gives it a much more Hawaiian vibe rather than Brazilian, so we decided to remove it) and then add the green and yellow scrunchies to her hair!I also added the coconut rings in Miku's finger (super popular in Brazil) and even Rainbow in my redesign wears those.I added a few other bracelets to Miku, one from my State in Brazil (the green one) which basically you get to do three knots and every knot you make a wish, and then just leave it there on you and once it falls on its own then it means your wishes came true! I wear a green one on my wrist, and a white one on my ankle!I also added a Reggae bracelet for Miku to wear in the piece. Reggae is not Brazilian but it got super popular there, a whole bunch of people, especially preteens/teens loves to wear the Reggae bracelet!! In this art piece, Miku is eating a cheese Pastel (a delicious Brazilian snack, I highly recommend yall to try it if you ever have the chance), she is eating it with ketchup + seasoned mayo!! Yes! The green sauce is mayo, we add so many greens to it, so it ends up looking green, but it is delicious! Miku is also drinking a Brazilian soda called "Guaraná" it is very sweet and it comes from the fruit, guaraná, it amazing :D

the soda Guaraná has also made its way in a few US supermarkets because of the increase on Brazilian immigrants! So if yall ever have the chance to try it, please do! I'm sure yall will like it :]

Oh yeah- the background for the piece is simple, since Miku was going to be covering a big chunk of it anyways I decided to not overdo it and just give the idea that she is at the beach and then just blur it, I kind of like it that way :D
