Thesis Film Initial Storyboard (Patreon)

Alright!! I spent my entire week working on this. It was a lot and I only have even more work to do now!! But this is the initial idea.

Some of you already know my girl, Tainá!! I made her for one of my previous classes and I love her very much, of course I'm bringing her back for my own Thesis film!!

The boy in the story I am still working on a design of his, but as soon as I have both characters' reference sheets done I will definitely share it here!

About the thesis film:

The idea is that Taina really wants to eat a cake, but this one classmate keeps that chance away from her.

The professor told me to make these few changes:

1- Taina and him are NEIGHBORS. He is NOT a stalker, so I should establish that they are neighbors right in the beginning of everything.

2- I tried to keep a thing called "3 times rule", usually whenever you watch a movie, there will be something that will be occurring at least 3 times throughout the film or just at a part of the film. So I thought making 3 days would be good, but the professor told me it was too much. So, it will be only 2 days that the boy will be messing with Taina.

3- In the beginning Taina actually manages to buy the cake. My professor told me to change that, let her not have the chance at all until the end of it.

4- whenever the boy tries to talk to Taina, she basically is ""ignoring"" him - not paying attention and all. My Professor said to actually make the outside world affect on that. Like he's walking to try to talk to get and the light turns red so he needs to wait to cross the street, maybe a bike came inbetween them and it almost caused an accident in a small funny cartoonish way, or maybe his friend came talk to him, etc!! Which I think it's awesome and really want to do that.

So yeah!! Now I have to write a whole paper, and also make even more storyboards.

I also realized I am NOT really much of a storyboard artist, I'm more of an animator for sure. I enjoy animating way more than storyboarding.

Also yes this post is available only in the Sol and Estrela tier!!! Because though it is not an animation, it does have to do with my ANIMATION project. So have a super special post you guys!! These next 3 semesters will be like that hauhauhauha, because this will be literally the main thing I will be working on.

Side note now: But there has been a whole lot of stuff going on in my life recently. It's a lot of GOOD things though, nothing negative. I've been incredibly busy, but it's a privilege to be this busy. Please do not think I have been forgetting about you guys!! I think of every single of you DAILY!! I constantly worry I am not posting enough on Patreon, I wish I had more time on my hands, as well as energy.

Thank you so much for all the support, and patience with me ALWAYS!!!!!!!
