It's easy: If you have questions about any of our games, the company or a question for a staff member you can ask us in the comments and we'll reply.

The reason behind this Q&A is that we want to communicate more with our community. See what your hopes and wishes for future projects are but also what doubts and questions you have in store.

Is there any male/male or futa/male content planned for your games, especially Roundscape?

For Roundscape, I’m curious about the process that goes into selecting the order of new scenes to add to the game, as well as what new content story-wise gets added. Is it based off of what patrons have voted on in past polls, what the writer feels more comfortable writing, what detailed fetish the game lacks or has less of than others? Love to hear your guy’s selection process. Thanks for reading and the Q/A :D

We can't announce a release date yet because we want the next one to be the last one. But Arenus is making great progress, it's in its beta phase and you can soon expect new material, may it be videos or maybe even a demo.

The next Patch (This month) will include a male/male encounter. Scenes with pairings like that won't be the focus of our games but you can always expect that we add one here and there. Especially traps are quite popular as the polls have shown.

Arenus is a RPG in its core and shares a lot of similarities with Roundscape. Lots of NPC's, Main and Sidequests, dialogues and the gladiator which is basically a companion. But Roundscape will always hold a special place in my heart, but it's at least half a year too early to talk about new projects, heh. Right now we got Arenus for this year and Banished for Q1/Q2 2019.

Good question! Designing/Creating Scenes sounds like an easy task but there are a lot of variables coming into play. First and foremost we try to add Scenes that push characters in their character development or story arc forward. As example: Clawyn's encounter with Tishtyra and the PC in the Ornesse Inn. Clawyn is a very reserved character and that "forced" threesome scene served the purpose to make future more "experimental" scenes more reasonable. But erotic scenes shouldn't always serve a purpose, sometimes they should just be fun. That's where we say: What's missing? What kink or which character could need more scenes? What's popular in polls and often asked for on discord or patreon. To summarize, we try to keep a healthy balance between what's fun and what serves the character and story. Also luckily all the writers in the team are very professional, so they have no problems writing scripts they don't feel comfortable with.

Is there a planned follow up for the plot of Vesper's Booty? Could we please, get some actual Male bestiality scenes, or some scenes with female monsters that are purposefully not "sexy"? Has Uprising been cancelled? If not, when did you folks plan on getting around to the next one? Do you ever plan to let us see the rest of the regions on the Roundscape map? Kanthu, Tilan, and Vesunna, which looks as fortified as Baa Sing Se? The help guides are also still lagging way behind, any chance those get updated any time soon?

When playing as fem PC only fem pc gets pregnant but the female companions don’t, any chance that when playing as fem PC female companions can get pregnant

So far the game is awesome, but i feel that the scenes for the male PC are too vanilla. It would be wonderful to have more variety for male PC scenes, like maybe the male PC taking a dick or toy up their butt, instead just having them always sticking their cock in someone else’s hole(s). Let them live a little. Also it would be cool to have a wiki or more all-encompassing guide of some sort for the game, but the game is still young (I think) so that will probably come along as the game develops. Anyways, that is what I wanted say about the game, but my question is can there please be some scenes for the Male PC to experience having their holes filled by someone else like companions or npcs?

as one of them who wrote a lot in the questguide, i will give a short answer to the last part: help and you get help. as a working man, i had not much time in the last months, so i'm a little back with playing the last three patches. if you find contend that is missed there and have to added, don't be shy and leave a comment. as soon one of them who have the right to write there see the comment and it's no nonsense, it will be added to the guide.

atm there are two scenes, where male pc get nailed ;-) i'm for myself not so in gayscenes but this two scenes are ok bc of the charakters involved and i woul like to see that one of the female partners would use f.e. a butplug at male pc during the act

Well it doesn’t have other males that nail the male PC. I actually prefer futas or females with dicks or strap-ons to nail the Male PC. I’m not much for gayscenes either, though i do enjoy them occasionally. What about creatures like the Rulwe?

How are you posting this from a year in the Future? Also, will any more NPC'S get pregnant scenes like the recent Gnoll chieftain? I personally suggest the Naga Queen from Vesper's booty for one.

The biggest question I have is Carys art seems to very inconsistent about wether or not she has a vagina as well as a penis. Can she in fact have normal sex with a male PC or is that a no go. Also do yall have plans for a scene such as that if she can in fact do that. Also, more Female Zent plox

Hard to put it down to a favorite scene but I'm a sucker for Meredith scenes. I joined close to the end of Act 1. I didn't expect we would make two more acts along with things like Emek's Rest and Vesper's Booty. It's really amazing when you think about all the stuff we've gotten to build for our world and for you guys as players. I think getting to make both non-h and h games would be interesting. I'd like to do something with spies and covert warfare since we could make some interesting characters in a setting like that. Astafa holds a special place in my heart just because I think I ended up liking her more than Lankin in Act 2. I think a feature I'd like is more clothing sets for when the characters are at certain locations or to show kind of the passage of time of the adventure. Always been a small thing I'd like to do but not really a small thing heh. I think that the gallery and other technical uses being improved is always something for us to keep in mind. Not here to kink shame ;P I'm just a writer, but I think the Ace to MV change was probably the hardest thing to tackle. That's a secret. I think the start of RS with the story formed around a dark god is something based on other games but also an element we could still make unique. The focus of Act 2 became going to old and new places, meeting some new characters and coming up with a way, not to just stop Murkhal's plans, but Murkhal himself. Act 3's plot started as a 'what comes next?' and it was fun coming up with a new continent, new struggles and characters that still linked with what had started the PC's heroic adventure. Possibly Nadesha. She is one of my favorite characters to write for and I was so glad people enjoyed how she turned out. Might be possible. :) I know that we slip up some times on those. I'm already getting some ideas together for one for September.

Trying to come up Act 3 was interesting. People had a lot of different reactions to Act 2 and Act 2's end kind of gave us a way to end the game but we didn't really want to end it. One small thing I wanted to do was to let the PC sacrifice any party member when Murkhal's daughter offers you a choice. It worked out better being only Meredith, but I thought it would be interesting hearing about how many people decided to just sacrifice a party member they didn't really become invested in. I'm a big fan of tetlltale games so it would have been super cool if we had a way to see how many people chose this npc or that npc or said no to the choice altogether.

There is some content that will shed light on Tilan in development. We actually have just received the first two image sets for the content. Getting to explore other regions would also be a lot of fun.

Easily the VX Ace to MV conversion of Roundscape and the pregnancy system. A pregnancy system is something you should have planned out from the start, we started the work on it when RS was around 60% finished. Some Ideas I personally liked but had to discard for the sake of the game/balancing were the alternative classes for companions and the crafting system, some of you may remember them.

Romantic Scenes are totally in the pipeline but scenes that only happen if the PC stays faithful are very unlikely, they would be closer to an "easter-egg" as the game motivates and pushes you to engage in erotic scenes with other characters.

Vesper's booty is finished as it stands, the open ending of the story was designed on purpose for the future. Uprising is on hold at the moment, we believe that the concept of an erotic superhero game has very high potential but we also think that the game doesn't get the ressources/time that it deserves so we're focusing on our other projects first. We're working on something right now that will explore one of the regions you listed, we'll do an announcement for it in the next months. The guides are both unofficial, but i'll see what I can do. Maybe I should start adding rough walkthroughs to each patch like I did with Uprising?

We totally want to explore Ruksana's kink for BDSM more in the near future and yes I agree, some scenes could do well with a few choices in them.

That's sadly the result of working with many different artists on Roundscape. Inconsistency is something hard to avoid because of that, another reason why we're having one artist per aspect for all future titles. As example Uprising, one artists for busts and one for CG scenes or Arenus, where all the Busts and CG Scenes, even the cutscenes are made by the awesome Menoziriath.

Very unlikely, we focus to expand on the current setup instead: Giving male PCmore opportunities to impregnate NPCs and Companions and fem PC more content focused on her.

We have a few scenes where the male PC is the bottom with tishtyra and carys as example. We're aware that the scenes with our male PC can be a bit vanilla and repetitive from time to time and looking for ways to spice it up. The next patch will include something completly new for male PC.

While it would be possible we think that it would increase art inconsistency and thus we haven't added such a feature yet. There are two possible outcomes if we would add that feature. 1) Adapt the CG art to the outfit. An impossible task due the sheer amount of erotic scenes. It would take years and money better used in new content and games. 2) Ignore the armor in erotic scenes = immersion suffers as the characters change their look all the time.

Atm we're playing with the idea of adding a new, improved gallery system to the game so we're a bit hesitant about adding new scenes. :) Right now there are no guest appearances from other games planned but it's a neat idea, we already gave it a shot back then with Queen Alistia.

Roundscape was initially my idea and yes it turned out completely different than what I had in mind back then. Reason for that is completely the overwhelming support we're getting, Roundscape was planned as a smaller game, more instanced, similar to Uprising. Some fun facts about the initial concept of Roundscape: Meredith was supposed to be an old guy as we wanted to deliver a classic hero journey with Roundscape with the mentor stereotype who would die at the end of act 1. Also we had planned to focus on Elarewyth, larger maps but focused on the human regions of Adorevia.

Since Wild already answered i'm going to cherry pick questions I would like to answer. :) (What are the staffs' most favorite scenes?) - I really like the scene with the succubus and the cursed demon in Emek's Rest. I think especially the art in the first picture is gorgeous. (Do you eventually plan to make some non-h games?) - At some Point I would love to create a horror game and I believe that adding erotica to it would just lessen the impact of horror and tension. Big fan of Lovecraft. (What game genres do you plan on experimenting with in the future?) - I think a X-Com inspired game with porn could be fun! (-What are the staffs' most favourite non-companion NPCs) - Zamoxys. I should explain myself a bit: I had a lot of content planned out for him that sadly didn't make it. He was supposed to become a companion with a redemption arc and a lot of interesting problems. Sadly it didn't make the game. (If you could add anything to roundscape without breaking the game, what would be the first thing you'd add?) Either Achievement or a mini-map. :( (What would in your opinion need the most improvement in the game? ) Less Areas and NPCs and more focus on the existing ones. (What engine does Arenus use?) A highly modified version of MV that utilizes PIXI. (Which NPC do you plan on expanding upon first?) We're going to see more of the Witch of Summeredge very soon. Any chance of a future Male PC scene with Amatum, and or her offspring, preferably with a choice between her female parts and her ovipositor? Also any chance of maybe reintegrating Mayla into the game at some point in Act 3? A redemption arc of sorts? Maybe if you treat her nicely, you win her over and she joins the team, and get more H scenes, maybe even some with other companions? Heck maybe she likes it rough and wants to be dominated, so you win her over by being a douche. Either way however It truly seems like a waste to just leave her in that Cell. I feel like her dialogue and conversations during the events of Act 3 would be quite fascinating, given how the antagonists are basically what she use to be. Also, I hope there are plans for more Bounty Hunter missions in the future, hopefully more than one at a time but I'd would be satisfied with any new addition lol. I also cannot help but notice that the Quest Journal still feels a bit uninformative. Also when is "The Lovely House" or whatever the name was, finally going to be implemented? Lastly, that building that looks like a Farm in Whitemoon...when is that happening?

Will there be more meaningful npc reaction. Just curious cause a lot of npc's you talk to once and then they are never able to talk to you or say anything to you again especially after a completed quest?

Giving closure to unfinished storylines of NPCs is one of our priorities atm. You can expect a lot of content in the future that focuses on giving closure and answering left open questions. We'll also add more mini encounters to the game, some may include NPCs you've met before etc.

1. Gajah. 2. A bit, from time to time. But we're now focusing on fun instead of a good balance for combat. You can expect more orbs, marks etc. with crazy features. 3. Good question. The answer is bit of a riddle: Yes, but they won't feature in the erotic scene. 4. The biggest time sink is a mix of several tasks caused by the size of Roundscape. With so many NPCs, races, companions, variables it's hard to keep everything in mind sometimes when adding new content etc.

1) Not in the near future (next two months) but we know that Amatum is quite popular. 2) Mayla is a great character, I personally would like to expand on her character arc a bit in the future. 3) While there won't be any new bounty hunter missions, we'll add two more guilds to Roundscape this year. 4) Yeah the quest journal needs work, the problem is that it's a very sensitive feature and can easily result in broken save files so we treat it carefully. The lovely house will probably replaced by something else in the future.

What were the H-Games or Non H-Games that inspired Roundscape? Have always gotten a LoQO vibe, but am interested to see where you guys drew your inspirations from.

LoQO was definitely an inspiration for me, it was the first H-Game I played before starting the work on my own games. For Non H-Games, I'm a big fan of the old Bioware Games. Kotor, Dragon Age Origins and of course the mass effect Trilogy. I think those games are the main reason why i'm here. For the Roundscape Content I designed I took inspiration from DA:O, Fable and a bit of Secrets of Monkey Island, for one specific character.

I am having a bug with my side quest not adding in my quest log. I delated my old version and downloaded the 3.7 version but sill having the issue but this time it stopped at 5, not a game breaking issue but annoying for sure. Is this a known bug or could I have an issue with something on my end?

Yeah its a bug. If you scroll up a little to the first person to ask question, in his last question they answer it. Its a coding problem they are having.

I'm still fair new to the game, specifically in the middle of act act I. However, I was curious if the game had any repeatable sex scenes with your companions and if not, if you guys were planning to add some in future releases?
