Arenus - Tech Demo (Patreon)

Hey folks!

Today is a special day, you'll be able to get your hands on Arenus for the first time.But, please keep in mind, that this is a Tech Demo. It's purpose is to test aspects of the game, this is not a real demo.This Tech Demo only contains 1% of the content/Assets we've created for Arenus.

The Tech Demo consists of three aspects:

A Battle Test 

A Dialogue Test

A Perfomance Test

After you've completed the Tech Demo, please make sure to fill out the following survey to help us, making Arenus a better game.Tech Demo Download: Google Drive

Known Issues- The Turn Order HUD appears above the black bars- Small FPS drop when animations appear for the first time- The Spaceships in the background appear a second after the map was loaded- No Keyboard support in the character creation

Great glimpse into what Arenus is shaping up to be. Everything for the most part checked up perfectly fine, except for right after the combat demo, at least for the loss. Right after I let Elona lose and hit enter to go back into the demo hub, the rain effect was gone but the when I went to the robot to toggle the option, it was on. It could be that I left the area or the loss, I did both before I noticed the rain was gone but I wasn't paying too much attention to it when it happened since it was (at the moment) nice flavoring for me. I'll probably check up soon and see if it's a one-off or find the trigger for ya. Aside from that though, art, lighting, performance, dialogue and combat were all superb!

Enjoyed the demo but not too sure I liked the dialogue was a little weird but enjoyable none the less.

Glad you enjoyed it. The dialogue was something I wrote on the spot, didn't want to use the original shower script because spoilers.

Thanx for the heads up, I couldn't download it before so thought it was taken down. For some reason it kept giving me a file not found error code.
