I won't lie, that one scene does live in my head so I needed to doodle it to get it out

What were your thoughts on the new season? Better or not better than the last one?

katzebruh

Oh no I disliked it a lot tbh, I found the writing mediocre and I saw such basic mistakes in the animation at times that I questioned their quality control. The only enjoyable part for me was Al but it was only sometimes. Season 1 was definitely better even though I also wasn't a fan of it

Amalgamworkz

All that really says a lot about the status of the franchise, huh? Tbh, I didn’t even expect you’d have a take on the animation, but I guess I should’ve 😆 btw, while we’re talking about it, you’ve probably seen the original pilot’s animation and how different it is from Amazon. Do you think that was better?

katzebruh

For sure! The pilot was entertaining enough when it wasn't trying to pretend it had a deeper meaning that they immediately undermine. Plus the animation in it felt so fluid, I've always hated that in the show they are hand drawn and yet so stiff it looks like they are using rigs. Total waste of the medium in my opinion it's not everyday you're allowed to do hand drawn shows

Amalgamworkz

That’s the exact response I’ve heard. The older version was definitely more fluid and unique, and I wish they kept it that way, but that probably wouldn’t have fit the “generic, all-appeasing” vibe I’m sure Amazon was going for Ironic, given the show’s content

katzebruh

They definitely succeeded cause there is an audience akdjakd but tbh I'm convinced it's so popular mainly due to the lack of similar shows, I may not like it but it's pretty unique. I just wish it had better writing and that they discovered new swear words cause hearing fuck so much is definitely making me deaf

Amalgamworkz

lol, now whenever I see a character who swears a lot, people always compare them to Vivzipop’s characters 😂 It literally just happened with Invisigal from the new game Dispatch (but that’s a much better character and story imo)
