And the doc is public for all of you now!

This doc just has basic information about the AU as well as how the characters will sort of be, as well as the basic idea of chapter 1 and a bit of chapter 2. I'm not going to be spoililng the other chapters in writing, but you'll see them first when I sketch em out :]

i gotta admit that taking 8 into account makes the dynamics of the au very intriguing and more nuanced but also I understand that you made this all before that so you’d wanna stick to just 7. I am curious though, is there any particular reason other than you just had the idea before 8 released? or is that really it lol

Eh it's just cause I made it before ep 8, to be honest I'm not really a fan of how it would be after ep 8. I don't care to just do constant in fighting with the characters, that's boring to me. This is bigger than them and after ep 8, they would have less reason to care about Caine and I literally only care about him so I'm not gonna do a whole story of him just being a punching bag akfjakg

Too much of what I want to do and explore just becomes harder after episode 8, I would have to focus too much on the other characters and they aren't the star of my show you know?

I also don't exactly vibe with giving the message of "we can forgive what you did because you're hurt" honestly I think that eliminates nuance, because his mistakes are significantly worse and it would take so goddamn *long* to get to the point where they can even begin to forgive him and I do not care to be at this for years akdjakc

nah that’s so valid; I also only care about caine all the rest of the cast is fodder to me (except for kinger but like,,, mostly just for his and caines dynamic). as for the forgiving thing I can see that, I do like how some people have approached that by not having the cast forgive him but they understand that now’s not the time for fighting, shit sucks for everyone, and still have them acknowledge that yeah they treated him pretty bad to a breaking point. nevertheless tis ur au you make the rules lol

Ya I get that but to be honest, I just don't think the cast would really care after ep 8, they didn't before, the muzzle would force them to care sure but while I loved the approach people took, it felt rushed to me (not that I can do it better akjdks) but as the cast is, they just don't really care about him in general, add ep 8 into that and it would take forever to reach an understanding

They've always seen him as an obstacle and that was sort of solidified in ep 8, they never once tried to understand his side. Personally if I didn't like someone and they intentionally hurt me, I wouldn't really care much if they were suffering, even if they had reasons, so it adds this whole layer of complexity I just don't wanna deal with cause I know I can't pull off akdjakjg

How the hell do they just keep letting Jax get away with actual abusive behaviour but never extend grace to Caine??? If no one cares about his death (and bring him back) I will crashout mid theater

fr, I’ve wanted to interact more bc You Get It but alas I am banned on twitter sibfsjbdjwbdjen if I was in the circus id care id care so hard 😔😔😔 not to mention too, the main reason the adventures turn bad is bc of their own actions (cough jax mostly), not necessarily bc of him,,, hypocrisy makes characters realistic but damn does it make them frustrating (also whoops I think I deleted my other comment bc I thought there was a dupe)

So the test I presume are primarily psychological evaluation, but instead of having a nice talk about peoples feelings he throws them into random situation and checks what their brain patterns do?

Great foundation to go by. Love the details and we all know you will enjoy making everyone suffer while their humanity of taking care of each other maintains resiliancy and will Abel be unbothered or will it be something they don't want him to notice.

Basically, Abel has been programmed to not trust humans as people are pretty unreliable at times, so physical evidence is the best option

To Abel its all tests, as long as he gets the data he seeks he doesn't really care what they do, they aren't a threat to him So honestly he's pretty chill outside of the- you know, torture
