Show Notes

Mobile Suit Breakdown is written, recorded, and produced within Lenapehoking, the ancestral and unceded homeland of the Lenape, or Delaware, people. Before European settlers forced them to move west, the Lenape lived in New York City, New Jersey, and portions of New York State, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Connecticut. Lenapehoking is still the homeland of the Lenape diaspora, which includes communities living in Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Ontario.

You can learn more about Lenapehoking, the Lenape people, and ongoing efforts to honor the relationship between the land and indigenous peoples by visiting the websites of the Delaware Tribe and the Manhattan-based Lenape Center. Listeners in the Americas and Oceania can learn more about the indigenous people of your area at https://native-land.ca/.We would like to thank The Lenape Center for guiding us in creating this living land acknowledgment.

Nanopocalypse

That's it! The special Zanscare-issued Commander Wine™ is why Cronicle is suddenly cool with all the villainous shit he's doing. He probably lets Katejina guzzle it down too. She's the warrior princess of Zanscare already anyway, her actual rank is meaningless. It's the Mariaism Kool-Aid that numbs the brain from horrid violence! Wreaking vengeance for the sparkly dick cannon nearly obliterating the homeland cannot be delayed to let a little girl aboard the big ship! (Even if she is the actual princess of the empire...) Stupid little ships need to get outta the big ship's way! I have a hunch this mission is also a ploy by higher command to get rid of Cronicle and his psycho Earthnoid girlfriend... can't say anymore though (and I might be wrong lol). 🤫

I have no idea if either of you ever listened to Linkin Park in the 2010s, but the reason I recognize that Mario Savio speech is because it's used in the A Thousand Suns track "Wretches and Kings." (imo, the weakest track in an album full of 9s~10s)
