The song's lyrics are explicit - and I think you're right, she made it somewhat vulgar or raunchy to align with how she was being treated by this person. Great insight! I also think she is trying to make sexuality less taboo by writing and singing about it more openly. That is one of the gifts the queer community gives to the world- sexual openness and freedom- breaking down sexual barriers and taboos and offering the possibility of freedom from sexual shame and stigma. When your sexuality is prohibited and illegal, you either implode or you embrace it and live out loud.
