Just wanted to give y’all a little update. My grand-dad is doing as best as he can right now. We’re still praying and hoping for his comfort.

We’ve made the tough decision to put Diamond (our 17 yr old pup) down this coming Monday. This week has been all about keeping her comfy and making sure she’s surrounded by love. Please keep us in your prayers—we’re definitely not ready, but we know it’s what’s best for her and for us. We’re spending these next few days with both our babies and family.

We plan to be back with content sometime next week, but we’re playing it by ear depending on how we’re feeling. We appreciate y’all being patient with us during this time.

I’m so sorry, guys.💔 Making that choice isn’t easy at all. We had to let our 16 year old Pom go, and it broke our hearts. But not nearly as much as watching him suffer, seeing him unable to stand up on his own and knowing he was in pain and we couldn’t fix it. I am so sorry to hear this bc I know firsthand how hard it is to make that decision. We had to make that choice a few years ago for our sweet kitty suddenly but it was what was best for him. Idk what you guys are thinking but something that helped us was doing a home-based service through Lap of Love. It felt better to us than a vets office and allowed us privacy and time. They were so kind and understanding and we were able to just focus on our baby. Love you guys and sending big hugs 🩷

We had to do the same back in March with our 12 year old diabetic heeler. I will be praying BIG for y’all. It’s never easy to have to say goodbye to a pet, but sometimes it’s the best thing to do for them. I’ve been there so many times and I know how you guys are feeling. Just think about how many good years Diamond had (17! That’s so many!), and how well she was loved in that time, and know that it’s always better to let them go rather than allow them to suffer. Have her cremated and get her a nice box, and that way she’ll always be with you, no matter where you go. And don’t rush back into making content if your hearts aren’t in it; we’re here and we’ll wait until you both are ready. Love you guys ❤️
