I know everyone wants you to watch THE live version, but for it to make sense, you need to understand the lore behind it. You can't go in blind, I dont think, because it won't be as powerful. IMO. I'm just glad youve listened to it. Its one of their best ever. Tango In The Night and Fleetwood Mac are also great albums! Stevie on stage singing Rhiannon, mesmerising 💜

Seriously, if just listening to this version had that effect on you, the live 1997 performance will leave you SHAKEN. I recommend watching it all the way through the first time so you can get swept up in it. Then watch it a second time and dissect it. Then watch it a million more times and get chills every damn time.

Like others have said the 1997 live performance is a must watch! If you ever want to switch your content up you should react to the show Daisy Jones and The Six! It’s based off a book and the author said she was inspired by the 1997 Silver Springs performance! It’s a great show (and book) with great music! I listen to the album all the time!

The 1997 live performance from The Dance is EPIC!! Stevie wrote this about her breakup with Lindsey. Mick and Lindsey kept this off of Rumors, it was a B-Side track, while Lindsey was singing Go Your Own Way, basically a diss track, at Stevie at every tour stop. When they played SS live in 1997, it became a single, a huge hit, and was nominated for a Grammy, Stevie got big payback. I recommend a watch of The Dance in full!! Also, there is a rumor that Stevie and Lindsey discussed getting back together, and just before the 1997 performance she found out his girlfriend was pregnant. He has a child roughly the age the dates line up, but it is a big fat rumor.

Ya know, I’ve long been grateful that my parents never let me play the radio stations with the songs I wanted to listen to (Brittney spears and the Backstreet Boys mainly. I was born in 1994) and I instead grew up only listening to their music in the car or just around the house, than when I watched part one of this series 😆. With that being said I grew up on Fleetwood Mac and Stevie nicks and know most of the lore, and was screaming at my phone when y’all had no idea who was who.. but ya got there eventually! Also my mom got the spelling for my name from the fleetwood song “Sara” from their album Tusk. which imo was an interesting choice because Stevie wrote that song about the child that she aborted, but nonetheless it’s still kinda cool 😎 and it’s a truly great song as well. Glad y’all love fleetwood because their music continues to slap even in 2025♥️
