Laura J✨

Damn goosebumps all over every time I see this

Rach

Stevie don’t just write songs about exes. She makes them play guitar and sing on it too

Sandy Johnson

I been waiting for this day 🥳 thank you for reacting to this performance!!

Xander

She had him locked into a trance! He couldn’t break her spell! 😂

mimi

At the very end he goes and hugs her 😭😭😭 there’s videos of it if yall haven’t seen that part!

hannah b

every time i watch that video it never fails to give me chills & smh… she really was saying “was i just a fool? you’ll NEVER get away from my voice that HAUNTS YOU” STEVIE!!!??? iconic. 😩🫶🏼 MMMF!!!

Laura J✨

Oh there’s sooooo much more lore…… Stevie Nicks wrote a book you should read Kaniyia. Since we know Terry doesn’t read books ….

Sandy Johnson

You could watch this whole concert. It’s all on YouTube. The performance of Rhiannon is stellar!! Also The Chain. And I love Christine singing Everywhere also

Mackenzie Lueken

Please do more from the performance! Y’all need to watch I’m So Afraid pleeaasseeee!!!

mimi

Sorry i keep commenting lol but watch daisy jones and the six if yall haven’t, its on amazon prime! It is inspired by them!!! So so good!

Trishgal

Omg yes, you must listen to Rhiannon and Landslide and more (older) live performances of your favorite songs because they are all so damn good!! 💜

Brittany Baer

The play “Stereophonic” is based on Fleetwood Mac making the Rumours album. It won Best Play last year. The music is FANTASTIC! If you like Fleetwood Mac, you should check out the cast album. They also did a Tiny Desk concert that’s great!

Laura J✨

Or watch Stevie Knicks:Wild at Heart on YouTube

Crystal Clayton

That’s on my mother Stevie casting her spell. She said YOU WILL NEVERRRRRR get away from this.

Jenna Dunnington

Lindsey’s WIFE was in the audience 😳😳😳😳😳😳

Rebecca

There was a lot going on during the making of Rumours. There was a lot of drugs and alcohol and bed hopping.

Holly T.

If you want to go down the Stevie Nicks rabbit hole her solo stuff is incredible and her VH1 Story Tellers concert is so good! 💜

Mackenzie Lueken

You need to watch the WHOLE concert (available on Prime) the last two songs have an incredible surprise!

Mackenzie Lueken

Also the band members are just Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood (drummer ) Christine McVeigh, and John Mcveigh (bassist )

Katelyne Nolan

Just watched this 4 times in a row, once for the performance, once to watch Kaniyia’s reaction, once to watch Terry’s reaction, and one more to watch the performance again!!! 😂 SO GOOD!!!

Karin Rommel

Thanks for doing this! I am one of your "older fans" and I gre up listening to Fleetwood Mac. Stevie Nick's was EVERYTHING! She didn't just have a unique voice but a unique style and of course she was stunning. The Taylor Swift connection is amazing to me. They are fans of each other. Stevie was so connected to the audience be cause her writing was about her own life...much like Taylor now. There are many other Swift/Nick's correlations. Its beautiful to watch. This is a good overview done by CBS a while back k about Fleetwood Mac. Thanks for letting me relive that song. I only listen to the live version of Silver Springs. https://youtu.be/FB1oy3yTdbs?si=62bW1B2pFvKX31md

Hridayinee

STEVIES voice and looks to him gave me chills and tears!

Kristina

You’re changed forever after watching this.

Analisa Ramirez

I remember watching this concert on MTV in 1997. It’s when I fell in love with them. It was the only version I knew of Silver Spring for years! The best version!

Mary (onlyeverthus)

I think I've only heard about this performance and seen pics of Stevie glaring, so it was great to see the actual performance. Also: bio-pic, lol. "Biographical picture" if it helps to remember 😁 Love you guys!

Emily M

The show Daisy Jones and the Six - on Prime (also a book) -is loosely based on Fleetwood Mac. So good!

PiPi

Stevie Nicks solo is much better. Silver Springs is fine Bug a little boring compared to other stuff.

Courtney Medlin

Mmmm mm mmm this is the best. Such a powerful performance. The guy on drums is Mick Fleetwood, (he and Stevie had a brief relationship) and the guy on bass is Jon McVie, who was married to Christine McVie (piano), but they later divorced when the band was still together. The name is the band is the combination of the last name of the rhythm section (Fleetwood and Mac (MACVie).

Scarlet

Lindsey’s family was also in the crowd (his wife)!!!

Robyn

There is a lot of great lore hour Stevie and Harry - they have an incredible friendship and a lot of great duets worth checking out as you explore Harry more! She’s basically his hero and it’s amazing.

Sarah Roberts

I first watched The Dance (you should totally watch the entire concert movie, btw) with my mother in 1997 when I was 15. My oldest son and I watched it together in 2022, when HE was 15, and he was as obsessed as I was. We must have watched this performance at least 4 times in a row. He then performed it with my mother (who plays piano) and my uncle (who’s a guitarist) in amazing 3 part harmony at a teen open mic night. I swear, Stevie flat out cast a spell on Lindsey during this performance. And everyone who has since watched it. Just amazing…I don’t think anyone who’s seen this has ever been the same.

Alicia Kuebler

I was sooooo excited for this reaction!!

Casey Godfrey

This & the 1997 Landslide live was INCREDIBLE! 🥹😍

Jenn Weber

Love this! I saw Stevie Nicks in concert 2 years ago and she still sounds amazing!! You have to listen to her solo stuff

CrispyRice

This might be my favorite reaction yet, and I have loved them all

Lendy Mason

I get chills every. Single. Time!!!!

Shannon

Landslide is a must!!!

Bailey

The cameraman was doing his JOB

Emily B

This reaction was so good and it may be fun to go down a rabbit hole of older music that is new to you. There is some magic out there to discover! And you’d likely be introducing it to other people who are younger and haven’t experienced it yet. How familiar are you with Prince? Because…. 🔥

T

Stevie & Lindsey were on & off for a while so I doubt giving it another go would’ve worked out. If it didn’t work out the first few times, it ain’t working out, period. Their chemistry (even during their “off” periods) was off the charts though! I feel like Lindsey is Stevie’s “the one who got away” & when she was a mentor on American Idol about a decade ago, she was teased that she liked this one contestant because apart from his talent, he “looks like Lindsey” 😂 That guy won American Idol that year.

Hanz

Should definitely watch all the 1997 performances!!

munii33

i'm enjoying your Fleetwood Mac journey so much, seeing your reactions to all the tea lmaaaao. i admit, i also only ever listen to Fleetwood Mac's live songs. thank god The Dance live album is on streaming! next up, the album before Rumours?? that's the first album they made when Stevie & Lindsey joined. if you only want to do song reactions, these 4 are the ones from that album that are also being performed at the iconic The Dance live album; Rhiannon (Stevie) Say You Love Me (Christene) Landslide (Stevie) I'm So Afraid (Lindsey)

Jessica

This performance is everything. And now you know why it’s so iconic! It feels like retribution for all the years she had to sing Go Your Own Way. And he didn’t look away! And honestly, he will never get away. I mean, her voice is in his life for eternity soooooo…

erin🦅

Some rock and roll lore: Stevie had an affair with mick fleetwood (the drummer) after her relationship with Lindsey and while he was with Jenny Boyd (the younger sister of Pattie Boyd who was George Harrison of the Beatles first wife). Stevie also went on to date Don Henley AND Joe Walsh from the band “The Eagles”.

erin🦅

Additionally, to date, Stevie and Lindsey do not talk to each other. The band briefly got back together recently but then Lindsey got fired from the band and blamed Stevie for it. So, they still don’t get along.

Jillian Brooke Wyatt

The “was I just a fool?” And the head shake on “never get away” EVERY TIME. Can’t listen to this song and not see this. It lives rent free in my brain.

Madde Norton

wait now you have to watch the 2003 version when she switches to “STILL I AM A FOOL” 😭

Delicia Champagne

Im so happy yall did this live version. This is my FAVORITE SS performance

Jen ✨

“You look like Stevie Nicks in 75” is all that’s running in my brain 🤣🤣 Man Taylor really does give Stevie Vibes

Kelly S

I don’t like how the article only mentions stevie scowling at lindsey but doesn’t mention the allegations of abuse or any of the drugs and cheating. I love fleetwood mac, I’m just saying there’s a lot that the article glossed over.

nikki

This reaction was well worth the wait. And I love when K said we are so lucky to be on earth with Stevie Nicks. You get it! Definitely recommend hitting a few more of their big hits and then watching the entire concert of The Dance.

Sarah Messana

Will never forget watching this live in 1997. My parents were watching and I didn’t care and by the end, I was INVESTED. Also, saw Stevie 2 years ago and she still sounds AMAZING!!

Barbara Pimentel

‘Landslide’ please!!! I love you guys so much!

Red Lipstick

You MUST react to their performance of Rhiannon on Midnight Special it'll blow your mind. I also recommend Fiona Apple and Elvis Costello's performance I Want You if you want to see intense and emotional!

Layla T

His WIFE was in the audience

Lindsey Berry

You are bringing new life to Fleetwood Mac for me - my favorite band - my first concert EVER. I love watching you guys.

Lindsey Berry

I saw this LIVE. What a gift. 💔

KNTKYGNTLMN

Ah there’s so much more to this. He was MARRIED and still obsessed with Stevie. He never let her go.

KNTKYGNTLMN

Also, you should watch the show Daisy Jones and the Six. It’s “inspired” by Fleeteood Mac and their relationship!

Abs

Landslide!!!!!!!

Claudia ~

Yesss Landslide next pleaseeee!!! I will never hear this song the same way lol great video :)

Mary

Fleetwood Mac!!!! So good.

Lively_Ash

Y’all would LOVE Daisy Jones & the six

Lively_Ash

One of THE BEST performances of ALL TIME💛💛💛💛

Lively_Ash

This wasn’t rehearsed this way either!! And her repeating “you’ll never get away” is hauntingly beautiful!!!!

Lively_Ash

I adore yall j how yall just absolutely LOVE music!!! 💛💛💛

Lively_Ash

There’s a reason Stevie wrote a poem for Taylor at the beginning of TTPD 💛🫶🫶

Dawn Michel

The camera person understood the assignment

Laura J✨

That’s the look when Kaniyia gives Terry when he is “on her damn nerves“ 😂

JJ

The drummer’s name is Mick Fleetwood. He started the band he is iconic in Christine McVie was married to John McPhee, who was also in the band and in that picture with the hat, they divorced around the same time that Stevie and Lindsay broke up.

JJ

The original live performance is way better bc all that emotion was FRESH! Also The Chain was Lindsey’s emotional (anger song) about it all. Plz watch the OG! Stevie’s preformance during Rhiannon (about an old Welch witch) is mezmerizing! Must watch OG only 😁

Xiomara Chingate

Yall delivered on this react lol we’re all like YOU SEE WHAT WE BEEN SAYING!!?!!

PeachiTiffani

so this same year they did a reunion tour called The Dance. There’s speculation that Stevie and Lindsey were talking about getting back together but Lindsey’s wife(then girlfriend who was in the crowd at this performance) found out she was pregnant so they stayed together

Emily Beth

Y’all have got to do Daisy Jones and the Six on Amazon. If you love FM, you will love seeing Elvis’s granddaughter being an amalgamation of 70s rock women in a fictional docuseries with FM themes!

Amy

This is the only version of Silver Springs I listen to. I need the raw emotion of Stevie’s voice every time.

Carol

I’d recommend this entire concert. They were on fire that night!

Shellbee

It’s ‘WAS I SUCH A FOOL!?!?’ for me.

Shiloh Maddox

vH1 has “Behind The Music” and theirs goes into their history. If you can find it, it really gives you the good stuff.

Shiloh Maddox

Also check out the duet with Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty. Sooo good.

Soph Walford

I’ve been WAITINGGGGG for you to react to this I’m so glad you did

Alison

MMMF🔥

Teri

I Love you two kiddo’s. You both are darling. Stevie Nicks was such a huge part of music even after she left the band and went solo. A talented songwriter who is one of Taylor Swift’s inspirational artists.

Brianna Pop

Listen to Rhiannon and then PLEASE WATCH the 1976 Midnight Special Live Version. Totally different than the studio version and we get 3 amazing solos, one of which Stevie quite literally gets possessed by the spirit. link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goKM7jsOwrg

Erinek14

Now you gotta watch Go Your Own Way from the same live show. Actually the whole thing is so well done 🥹

Deirdre Fentem

YES! your reaction was so satisfying. I just loved your stunned, shocked, goose bump silence. I think it’s one of the greatest performances of all time.

Megan Maxwell

Lindsey was actually married at this time. Imagine the conversation they had. Wifey not too happy.

Ramah Johnson

It’s the stunned silence for me

Ramah Johnson

Lindsey is a very underrated guitarist!

Molly Davenport

Stevie was the original Taylor as far as writing songs about her exes (not just Lindsey, but Don Henley and Joe Walsh among them). But nothing comes close to the drama between the two of them. Christine and John were also married and breaking up during the making of rumors. And then Stevie had an affair with Mick. Lindsey has a (probably well deserved bc he’s literally one of the best guitarists in history) ego, and didn’t always treat her well. They were equally talented in different ways, him musically, her song writing and her ability to make so many fall in love with her, and they were oil and water. He made fun of her during a speech at the iHeart Radio awards, and she’d had it. She pulls in far more revenue for the band than he does, despite his virtuosity. She had the clout to say I’m not coming back if he does, and they know they’re not making the money without her. Mick and John are one of the best rhythm sections in history, but they don’t write the songs. So they live off the touring. So they sided with Stevie. Plus Lindsey is a more difficult personality, very demanding. She doesn’t take any sh*t from anyone, but she’s also way more down to earth. Lindsey made the same money they at all did, but didn’t blow it on drugs the way they all did. So he had the luxury of not needing to make he money and wants to make music that may not be as commercial and sell as much, and looks down on what he considers “selling out” with nostalgia concerts that don’t include new music. So much drama there, months worth of entertainment if you’re unfamiliar and haven’t looked into all of it!

Molly Davenport

Also, has anyone told them to watch the Dance Tour’s live version of Big Love yet? It’s all you have to see to realize Lindsey’s talent. It’s insane.

Jaime Smith

This performance, and this whole live show, were foundational in making me who I am. This performance specifically became like my whole personality for a long time. I was lucky enough to see Fleetwood Mac 12 or so years ago and Stevie and Lindsay sang this to each other at that show too. It was a dream come true, like I witnessed magic.

G Davies

After you've done some more Fleetwood Mac, please react to Edge of Seventeen by Stevie Nicks if you haven't already 🙏

carly straight

This is my favorite thing that’s ever happened.

Rebecca King

So now that you’re sold on Stevie, I suggest checking out Tom Petty. They were very close friends and did a lot of collaborations over the years. I suggest “Stop Dragging My Heart Around” and “Insider”. You will love their performances together! Full disclaimer: Tom is my favorite musician of all time so I’m biased but I guarantee his vibe is right up your alley!

Kate Wright

Yasss Rhiannon is amazing

Tina H

Please watch the last song of the Live Performance ‘Don’t Stop’ and ‘Landslide’. Stevie and Lindsey have a beautiful moment together to recover from the emotional roller coaster of ‘Silver Springs’

Jadey

I’ve never seen this performance before, damn it made me so emotional! Stevie was FEEEEEELING every single word ❤️

Annastasia Beaverhausen

I downloaded and subscribed just to see your reaction to this love version. Stevie is a legend!

Jess

Rhiannon, Gypsy, Leather & Lace, Landslide!

Kelly

Watching y’all watch the little sly looks knowing the fierce, hex full on witchcraft that was coming!!! This is my all time favorite live performance EVER

Kelly

Also…Stevie is still touring. I saw her twice last year and she is PHENOMENAL live!!!! If you get the chance to see her, please do it!

Danielle

You would love the video of that entire concert. You can buy it as an album. It was incredible. Lindsey’s performance of I’m So Afraid is amazing. If you really want to go down the rabbit hole of Fleetwood Mac lore, there is a book written by the producer of Rumours about the making of the album. Mick Fleetwood also wrote an autobiography and had quite a few stories to tell.

Kate

T and K THANK YOU FOR BRINGING ME JOY DURING THE HARDEST YEAR OF MY LIFE!!! I lost my father unexpectedly in August and 4 weeks later my best friend of 30 years died after a 2 year fight with ovarian cancer, then in December I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had 3 surgeries and 5 months of chemotherapy and somehow during that I found you guys on YouTube. Im 53 damn years old I don’t even know anything about YouTube still can’t leave comments but my niece was sending me Taylor Swift videos because I was unfamiliar with any of her music except for the huge hits and then I stumbled upon you and you have made me laugh on my darkest days. You are real you are hilarious you love each other and you annoy each other and you laugh at each other just the way it’s supposed to be. I didn’t wanna leave a big long comment in the middle of group conversations on Patreon but I think it is my only option to let you know how much I appreciate you both! I’m excited for your success and I just know you are going to continue to do great things. Music has always gotten me through the ups and downs and I can see how much you both love it too so along with my thank you I just wanted to share with you some of my favorite songs from over the years that you may or may not know. I’m not requesting any kind of reaction. I really just wanted to send you some of my favorite videos from over the years to thank you. And I’m a little bit ashamed of myself because as I rounded out the list, I realized I did not represent the ladies well enough so one day I’ll send you a couple ladies from the 70s 80s and 90s that you may not know that you might check out. So thanks again for bringing joy into my darkest days it means more than you know and I am on my way to more healthy and happier times. 1)Tedesky brothers one of the best live videos Ive ever heard Hold me live must watch!! Ashley van Dokkum

The way I took a History of Rock class my freshman year of college and we spent an entire class on this performance and the lore 😂😂😂

cristina olmos

Yall Lindsay's WIFE was in the audience PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!

Victoria Leather

Go watch Daisy and the Six too. It’s “loosely” based on Fleetwood Mac

Rachel

In an interview Stevie said she hated performing Go Your Own Way because of the lyrics, "packing up, shacking up is all you wanna do", she said that's not what she was about and Limdsay knew that. She also said her and Christine would purposely mess up or change things during the song when they would perform it to upset Lindsey 😂. Stevie is an icon!

Victoria Leather

I wrote you a whole Fleetwood Mac bullet point back story as you have barely scratched the surface of the stories behind this amazing album. Then I dropped my phone on floor and deleted it. Think I’ll go take a nap now instead 🤣

Rebecca Friederich

I'm having a really bad day and your faces during this really helped 🤣

Kylynn Walton

Y’all Stevie and Harry Styles doing Landslide is literally so beautiful. I’m obsessed and I need to see y’all experience that performance!!!!!!!!

Ashley S

This is just such an iconic performance. I could watch it a million times.

Lindsay Douglas

When Kaniyia is like “I don’t know I think they should give it another chance”. SAME.

Sarah Beckett

Yall should watch some clips of Mick doing playing drums and doing solos. He goes so hard. It’s wild. I saw them in concert maybe 12 years ago and loved it.

Sarah Beckett

Yall went full speechless when they stared at each other 🤣😂

Lessa Patterson

i need y’all to watch some videos of stevie and harry performing together!!!! they’re such close friends it’s so lovely to see <3 they’ve done landslide a few times and also stop dragging my heart around and leather and lace

Jayde Martin

YES Kaniya, I’ve never seen/heard anyone else say that, but I felt the same too, like I was interrupting something hahaha. It was so intense and charged that connection between them during that.

Holly

He TOOK IT.

Chelsearae✨

I had to rewatch this like 3 times. I can’t NOT look at Stevie

Cassandra

This was the first time they had ever performed the song—20 years since they had originally recorded it and it got cut. That’s one of the reasons it’s so intense!!

Jess

Now you guys NEED to react to the 2004 live version!!

Julie

Have you listened to any Billy Joel? He has a new documentary on HBO, but I really think you would appreciate his storytelling and his piano playing!!!

Teri

Billy Joel is boring.

Brooke Llewellyn

you guys have to react to landslide from this same concert! it is phenomenal!

EmilyZ

Is this on YouTube? My mom would join ASAP! I’m checking now :)

EmilyZ

She’s literally never beating the witch allegations after this performance (specifically the “never get awayx3” at the end!)

carly straight

I have seen this over 100 times and it ASSAULTS me every single time.

Ernie Baby Billy

Pleaaaaase watch bleed to love her from that performance. It’s Lindsay singing to her the way she sings to him in that song!

Amanda Edgar

Im late but that article left out the fact that even though they had broken up, they were always kinda on and off with each other. They had that typical type of toxic relationship that was physically and emotionally abusive (and drug fueled I’m guessing). You can clearly see that love/hate dynamic with them😭

SwiftieOver50

Lindsey took his (deserved) hits. The guitar solo response evokes emotion of deep pain.

SwiftieOver50

The follow spot planted on her is chefs kiss

Nicole Gsell

My mom describes this as Stevie talking s___ and Lindsey having to play music to it 😂😂😂

Shayla Tharp

I've maybe watched this reaction video 100 times already. It kills me

emma

Daisy Jones and the Six is based off the drama of Fleetwood Mac and it’s so good!! If you haven’t watched it yet you should do it on Patreon!!!!!

SwiftieOver50

I echo DJ&The6 The River & Honeycomb please

SwiftieOver50

LB apologizing with the guitar solo

Shayla Tharp

I watch this video at least 3x a week

Colleen

You should consider watching the entire concert the dance. I'm sure you could find it somewhere. You would love it

Britney

You gotta peep Christine staring him down in the background too 😂 she was a full time Lindsay hater

SwiftieOver50

Christine gives an eye roll which speaks as loud as Stevie’s lyrics.

SwiftieOver50

LB solo is a virtuosity solo that feels like the guitar is apologizing, agonizing, and resolving. 😢
