Such an amazing album! So happy this finally got posted and you're feeling better Kaniyia! If you ever get the chance go see hozier on tour someday! You will weep he sounds so amazing. His personality is interesting to see live. ! Can't wait for part 3!

Riclyn Sherman

Andrew is playing the hell out that guitar on this album

Erica Van Pelt

Can’t wait for part 3! Thanks for making me go to bed 45 mins later than I was about to 😂🫶🏻

Riclyn Sherman

I can’t wait to see what yall think about Cherry Wine

Yes he plays the guitar on basically all of his songs with a few exceptions, he’s said before it’s the primary instrument he uses when composing them. Also, you have to check out the live performance of To Be Alone in Kilkenny, I had no idea he could sing those extended falsetto notes and was blown away the first time I heard it. The vocal ability in INSANE.

MMMF!!! Holy crap I’ve been waiting for this one😩 (worth the wait!!) K, the humming in From Eden always reminds of that same song!!! Michael Jackson sang some version of it 😂 Cannot waaaaaiiitttt for part 3, most of my favorite songs are in that section of the album😆 so glad you’re feeling better!

Eleanor

y'all would EAT UP his song Nina Cried Power I think, that whole album of his is amazing and I think you two would love it but that song in particular would go IN !!! Been waiting for this, so hype for pt3 MMMF!!

Regan

A lot of people think that To Be Alone refers to someone who's been assaulted because it talks about how the woman in the narrative hates her body "see the way you hold yourself, reel against your body's borders" / "the skin that crawls from you" and references r*pe culture in the beginning. Hozier's said as well that he wrote 'From Eden' from the perspective of the devil looking at something innocent and seeing it as a missing piece, so I've always thought it was from the perspective of satan speaking to Eve and trying to lure her away from Adam and the garden of Eden, even though he knows it's sinful she reminds him of himself before his fall from grace.

Terry, you’ve said something like this before about another song but his talent makes me emotional. The lyrics and voice and guitar coming together make me want to cry. I was obsessed with this when it first came out and y’all took me back to hearing it the first time. I love how y’all love music for music’s sake.

Ash 💗

KANIYIA the song you thought From Eden sounds like is from Free Willy lol Michael Jackson I’m pretty sure sings it it’s called “will you be there” I thought the exact same thing lol

Paul Schierbaum

Can’t wait for the rest! Please promise not to stop with Hozier, you have one more album and it’s INCREDIBLE. Please do Wasteland, Baby! at some point 🙏

Isabel Victoria

Idk if yall ever dabble in Broadway but I really think you’d love the Hadestown soundtrack

Mary Beth S.

Oh oh, also, my husband and I LOVE the movie Life, the amount of times a year we say either “you gonna eat your cornbread” or sing “the upper rooooom” 😂

Isabel Victoria

I heard somewhere that hozier wrote In a Week after getting bit by a mosquito and pondering what it’s like to slowly decompose 😂 idk if that’s true but if so that man has something wrong with him and I love every bit of it

Isabel Victoria

Wicklow was in Sweet Nothing “does it ever miss Wicklow sometimes”

Isabel Victoria

That last part of Sedated he’s singing the bridge again over the chorus

Ashley

Loved this!! Hope you guys react to his mvs sometime after this

Martina S.

“It’s just about death. It’s just a beautiful poem” exact perfect definition of in a week lol 💛

Porterhouse04

Sedated is one of my all time favorite song 🥰🥰

Ryan

Should do Hoziers cover of: Do I wanna know?

Jill M

I was dying for y’all to get to From Eden because I knew you’d hear the Free Willy song in the humming! I kept insisting to my husband that it sounded like that song and he wasn’t listening to me, so then I had to look up Michael Jackson and play it. I was so right. 😂

Cameron

absolutely cannot wait for part 3 !!! work song, like real people do, and cherry wine are imo some of the best songs in his discog. also i'd love to see y'all do wasteland, baby next !!! the vocals on that album are incredible

Skybear262

Hearing Hozier live is like an out-of-body experience! 100/10 recommend going at least once
