The line about him hearing only the bass while his friend swore the singer read his mind, is an insane line. He looked back at how he only paid attention to the music, and not the lyrics of the song his friend showed him. If he paid attention to what the song was saying, he would have gotten to understand more of what his friend was going through at the time. Devastating. And I can't wait to get my feelings hurt more when the album releases 😭

I have heard Cowgirls Don’t Cry many, many times and never cried. I realized I have never seen the MV and watched it for the first time with y’all in this video. I am currently bawling. With my daddy being older in age now compared to when I heard this as a younger girl, it hit DIFFERENT. This is just another reason I love y’all and find so much joy in your videos. As an avid country music lover, growing up with Reba, and Brooks and Dunn and 90’s country, it’s like I get to hear it for the first time again. You two brighten my day. The way they harmonize is sooo compelling and I think they’re often discredited because they’re a “boy band.” I highly recommend you give them a try.
