I don’t ever want to hear people putting down Taylor’s lyrics . Those were basic af sorry Harry but I’m glad they like American girls :-) great concept but there is nothing to the song - wanted more depth

It’s interesting that he doesn’t say HE is in love with American girls. He just says his friends. And girls aren’t even really featured in the video. So weird, sorry Harry. Looks like ET going across the moon on the bike.

My take on "American Girls": It's Harry's take on people's obsession with influencers. Obviously not all are from America, but we've got a boatload of them with huge followings. People that show us something that may or may not be a real thing (all of the stunt doubles and rigged sets). These are people we think we "know", because we watch so many hours of their videos online ("I've known you for ages"). All of that must feel very familiar, because it all also applied to the boys when they were in 1D. Even now, we feel like we knew them (yes, myself included), but really - we just knew what we were shown... how much of that was "real"? Who knows.

In Ready, Steady, Go-I’m not gonna lie is it just me or is it like he writes half a song & then just repeats the same words for the rest of the song. I do like the beat but if anyone ever puts down Taylor’s lyrics again, I swear. 😤😡 And I mean I bought 4 of this vinyl so I have a right to speak on this. I do like Harry but when I hear other artist’s lyrics it makes me mad that people have the audacity to put down Taylor’s amazing lyrics. I like the vibes of the music though, but the lyrics don’t hold a candle to Taylor’s.

OMGGG you guys have to watch the “Friends Keep Secrets” podcast with Benny Blanco that Ed Sheeran is on. You should watch that one live ! As in record you watching it! They make an awesome song live. It is sooo good . They make the song in like 16 mins at the end of the podcast. It’s mind blowing! Also there is one with Selena Gomez and she talks about Taylor some so watch that one also!! She confirms that “Dorothea” is about her and Taylor has another unreleased song about them.

PLEASE more One Direction content!! I never really paid attention to them when they were together and were so popular and only really discovered them a year and a half ago after Liam’s tragic passing, but they are my happy place now. Their music is so damn good and I had no idea. Plus Louis Tomlinson’s solo stuff too please! They are all so individually talented and harry is amazing of course but Louis’ solo stuff is so amazing too, but he’s always forgotten about.

"Coming Up Roses" is my fave on the album, with "Ready Steady Go" and "Dance No More" rounding out my top 3. Love this whole album, and it's funny because it took me a bit to warm to it, and now I can't stop listening to it 😂

On some of these songs I can't even hear the vocals. I'm hard of hearing but I've never experienced this. Sometimes the music is overpowering the vocals & can't even tell when he is singing.
