I got someone to do up a drawing, figuring I might be able to draw more people into my writing if it had a few images to pull them in.

You know, judging a book by it's cover, and I've never really had a cover, yada yada.

The issue is whether I continue with this artist, and whether this is AI-generated (AI-assisted? etc.) Some of the AI detectors say yes, some say no. Some just complain that it's "artificial" looking, but they just mean "it's a drawing" when you read the details.

So I'll put it to my loyal followers.

How does this look and would it draw you in?

Does it look fake and would it hurt more than help?

Cheers,

Xav.

P.S. The next chapter of Talla's Temple is finished. I'm just editing it.

ETA: I put in two of the earlier images as I discussed what I wanted the scene to look like with the artist.

It definetly looks like AI art, off the bat I want to say I am not an artist nor am I an expert on art software, but the mistakes look obvious enough to me, to weigh in. The Wireframe looks like a filter, why would the shadows underneath the girls show up in a Sketch? The redness on the ass looks hastily brushed on after the fact, (Shirt on the border is also a bit pink.) Background scene Looks generated too, cant quite put my finger on it but the plants and books look off. So it looks like they generate the characters and scene seperately, composits them in, and then hastily edits them afterwards for the blush, and whiteboard. Not sure if the edits are AI as well, but from what I understand are on this level a work of 5 min or less. To answer your question the images do draw me in, but not for good reasons, it looks extremely fake. Cheers P.S.: Waiting/Hoping for Jerrica's Homework 2
