A "Wild Chapter 5" appears from amid the ruins of a Gazebo.

Please don't shoot any flaming arrows at it.  It's just a story, Eric.

Bailey and Kent formulate a plan.  Laura and Baily formulate a plan. It's machination all over, but how will it unfold?  And why was Kent acting weird anyway?

I keep thinking about what arcs might happen long-term in this and the second season in your splendid and already quite well explored triangle. The best i could come up with is breakup over some sudden misunderstanding (ideally where Laura is partly blame, but scared to admit it - think Bailey expressing doubt about Kent in some way and him overhearing it, but too immature to confront her fully and Laura putting it in a bad perspective, unconsciously to.. get Kent), where she then.. tries to have indepent relationship with both, trying to get her due plus pull them together while keeping her blame in the initial breakup a secret. Well. This is me, being impatient for another chapter.

Tens of thousands of words into this thing and you still do an excellent job keeping it fresh. This was an excellent pacing chapter to bring us down from the last and set up what looks to be an interesting next few chapters. The fact we are this far in and I'm still hanging on each chapter is a testament to just how good this arc is. Really well done X...
