Well, this monster of a chapter quite literally hit all the angles... or at least Kent did... well I guess they all got a taste. I love the slow boil with these three. Thinking back to where they started and skipping to here you'd think, "no way they end up here." But here we are as they just keep incrementally pushing. I liked here that for the first time in a loooong time, there was push-back with Laura about her face in Bai's crotch. Makes this so much more realistic, believable and... well... hot. Well done X!

Gotta say... no rush on getting through the story arc. I'm with L. Lingula on the slow boil. The drawn-out, delicate burn is part of the deep enjoyment of these three. At the moment, from this reader's perspective, it feels like Laura's still pretty early in figuring things out, even though she's come so far from where she started. Same with the Bai/Kent relationship.
