Branded To Fall Dev Update 31/05/26 (Patreon)

Hey hey!

It's dev update time! Works firing on for 0.7 with progress continuing at a great pace! I've finished off a new map that's been a long time coming, along with some fun new interactions from entering there, and maybe even a bit more...

I've been splitting my workload between and Jen and Charlotte for the main bulk of this one so far. It's been very fun to really start going ham on some of these scenes especially with how deep in the sauce our protags now are with each of these girls on their respective routes. I did have a realisation of something in particular that was missing though that I really wanted as a whole, and that's kissing scenes. I had some CG's that were impactful for this, but I had nothing for any regular kisses for even Cam and El together. So I've outlined some fun kissing extra's that we'll be getting for characters as and when are appropriate. I know this hasn't come up as outside of Cam and El there hasn't been much kissing, but I still feel this is a nice extra for if/when this happens with some characters.

Art wise, my artist has been flying through the next CG (which I've posted a little sneak peak for in the cover) and I've outlined a crap tonne of future ones (not just for this update) as well, that me and my artist have already been discussing and going over for the future. Amongst these you'll also be seeing some coming new outfits for some characters, notably a lot of peoples favourite tanned queen bitch of the house. I'd like to include more outfits and changes in sprites in general for route progression, but its a hard line to tread for justifying major changes to sprites in other scenes they may appear in. So making it work properly or not be a permanent change (like just an outfit) is something I'm starting to think about more so for each from a character perspective for should these changes hit certain characters.

Finally, the public release has gone incredibly well and very smooth, so I'll be looking to release the character/route popularity poll as a public vote coming soon as well. It'll be fun to see the wider results and the differences between the two sets of results. Though I'm fairly certain the top two spot will remain on their thrones, but maybe you'll all prove me wrong (this is not a challenge, please vote with your heart and your genitals, not simply to mess with me XD).
