Branded To Fall Dev Update 20/09/26 (Patreon)

Hey hey!

Been a busy and fun week this time round! The public release went out and has been a big success with lots of positive feedback so far! I hope everyone that was waiting for it has enjoyed getting their teeth into the biggest update I've done to date!

On my end I've been working on the main meat of the next update still, which is turning out to be Leandros and Irellia, as I've gotten a little carried away with their scenes and content this time around. Does mean there's some very fun things to look forward too though. Irellia's content is looking wide, with many more events with her and her expanding her influence over Cam and it also leading to pushing some other story things forward and maybe meeting some important people. While Leandros' content is more focused around one very big event which will have some great spice to it!

The next update is also overflowing with new maps, including a huge new area set that Hizor has been working on for a long while that I'm so excited to get to finally show off in game! Those who have popped along to any of the dev streams will have seen this one in a fair few different stages of completion already. Along with this, I recently decided to get more assets from the tileset artist whose tilesets I use, and they've added so many extra options that have allowed me to revamp several parts of the map, such as the entrance to the Dukes manor and the morning market in the housing district!

Art wise, Zutte's been killing it with the scenes I've been receiving, they've come out beyond what I expected and I know you're going to love them! Ontop of this, work got started on the winners of the side character sprite poll, the Duke's maids! Well, as you can guess from the banner, work is also finished on both of them! I didn't want to spend too much time on sprites by doing all four maids, so I started by focusing on the two with the most main involvement in the maid work and story which are Ellen, the new lazy and nonchalant maid, and Lillian the head maid of the Manor. Because of these new sprites being added, I'll also be making some alterations to some old maid scenes to make more specific reference to their looks and other things, like the differing in each maids uniform.

Other then that I don't have too much more to say right now without going into stuff that I'm not sure will make it into this release so I'll hold off talking about for now. As always, thank you all for the love and support, and have an amazing week!
