[Max+] Details about the changes to request rules (Patreon)
Content
Hey!
This post goes over a bunch of details about the upcoming changes to the request/commission system that I mentioned earlier — in case you missed it, you can check the original post here:

Main changes:
Price increase to $25 for current Max+ tier (+$17 to current price, starting July 1st)
Updated rules
New tier with more customization options (also available starting July 1st, the price isn’t final yet either — it’ll be confirmed on launch day)
The new rules will apply starting from the current June request round. They’ve already been updated in the instructions post: https://www.patreon.com/posts/113081382
Here’s a quick summary of what’s changing:
The “Level Of Explicitness Priority” will work a bit differently: if you choose Solo as your main focus, it’ll have less impact than before (fewer images); choosing Hentai will now have more weight (more images).
Sets can no longer be entirely focused on toys or tentacles only. You can still list those as preferences and they might show up, but full sets with only that won’t be an option anymore. I know this might be disappointing for some, but since those themes aren’t very popular overall, I think this is a fair compromise — thanks in advance for understanding.
You’ll still be able to pick 1 main outfit and 1 simple secondary one, just without customization.
Alongside "banned themes", there’s now also a "low priority" option — the difference is: banned themes won’t appear at all, while low priority themes will still likely appear, but in smaller amounts.
Nothing really changes for animations, except that going forward they’ll be posted 1–2 times a week in separate posts that include animations from multiple requests, instead of being bundled with the main image sets.
There are now some extra limitations on characters: characters with Fantasy / alien traits (like colored skin, glowing eyes, horns, or odd anatomy) won’t be available for requests anymore — though there can still be exceptions for very popular characters (like Albedo). Characters with lighter stylization (like unnatural hair/eye colors, cat ears, tails, etc.) are still totally fine to request.
Preview sets will have a bit fewer images and will now feature multiple characters from different requests in the same post. Also, previews might include more than just solo images now. I always try to consider your feedback after previews are posted, but going forward, depending on the situation, not all extra requests/specs made after previews are shown will be followed — especially if it would cause major delays. Hopefully that won’t be too common though.
And since the main purpose of previews is just to show the character design, if a character has already been featured before, the preview step will be skipped.
That’s pretty much all the changes. Some of you might barely notice them, others might feel the difference more — I get that. But these changes are meant to help make things more consistent and relevant for the majority of paid members, and also streamline the set creation process a bit. Ideally, that’ll help with both quality and quantity, and give me more time to focus on other things like research and project-related work.
As for the new tier, it’ll launch on July 1st and won’t be affected by these limitations. It’ll come with more customization options and other perks — I’ll share full details in advance.
The request form has already been updated based on the new rules, so you can go ahead and send your June request here:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdkCGu9uPWQ678hxqZUryfDMa2LV1F_Yc4CafkkkOpbZKQTnA/viewform?usp=header
I’ll also personally follow up with anyone who already submitted their form in the past few days, just in case anything in the request conflicts with the new rules.
The few remaining requests from this round will still be done using the full specs you originally submitted — without being affected by the new rules.
Thanks so much for your continued support! If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to reach out.
