Quick question: instead of just basing it entirely on suggestion likes, would you guys want me to just take suggestions made and poll the suggestions first and then whoever is in the top goes into the final poll?

Because I think liking others' comments isn't something people will regularly do, regardless of how often I tell them: most will just leave their suggestion and like maybe one or two others and then that's it. Whereas a poll, with allowed multiple choices, acts as an easier monitor for who likes what suggestions. The like a comment thing just has diminishing returns is all I'm saying.

Most people don’t read the posts so they don’t read to like comments. Polls are easier I think for you to gather feedback.

As many as I can, anyway. After the Phase 1 cutoff I'll put them all into one poll. You guys can vote for multiple choices in that one because they're suggestions to see how popular the choices are. Then the top 5 or 6 goes into the Finals.

I'm fine with whatever, I think people still like the comments but I think genuinely from what I've seen in other accounts people don't tend to leave a heart ❤️ as much. So I wouldn't be indifferent to polls, works well for those who like to be silent supporters

Yeah I think that would be good so it’s not just based off likes. You can choose the popular ones and maybe some left field ones as well from the comments.

I think polls will be easier and better imo! Def helps with reducing time of tracking likes and to ensure no repeat comments so easier to track

I think you'll absolutely get better feedback and participation via another poll. Especially as comments start to fill up and people have to keep clicking "expand" to see all the options, the limited likes that do come in are going to be limited by basically whoever posted first anyway. I think another poll would help fix that problem.

I suggest not including character images in the voting section, just put name on it; some people make their choices based on the pictures, which could affect the accuracy of the actual vote.
