You finally got to see the Vanguard of the waves The Vanguard of the waves have a certain job and that is too spread false information on the waves, kill any race/ monsters that can help stop the waves, start wars, kill the cardinal/ Vassal heroes and steal their weapons , start the waves in every world and destroy every world that exist. remember Kyo from S2 well he was a Vanguard of the waves once more he killed the real book Vassal hero and stolen the book Vassal weapon from his dead body The Vanguard of the waves you saw in episodes 5 and 6 of S3 Destroyed S'yne's world when they killed all 4 of S'yne's world cardinal heroes Some of the false information the Vanguard of the waves spread was how they can summoned new cardinal heroes once all 4 are dead as you just heard from S'yne her world was destroyed the moment all 4 of her world's cardinal heroes died In S3 Ep 6 you found out about the seven deadly sins cursed series weapons so let me explain what they are for and what they do The seven deadly sins cursed series weapons are a safety mechanic of the cardinal and Vassal weapons that prevents the vessel and cardinal heroes from committing suicide and they also mess with the minds of the heroes For Motoyasu his seven deadly sins cursed series spear of lust makes Motoyasu see and hear all women as pigs unless they are Filolials or if Naofumi or Filo tell the now cursed Motoyasu they are good people For Ren his seven deadly sins cursed series sword of greed and Gluttony made him want everything For Naofumi his seven deadly sins cursed series shield of wrath makes Naofumi misinterpreted his feelings and the feelings of others For an example if you didn't notice Naofumi first unlock his seven deadly sins cursed series shield in S1 Ep4 and in the very next episode Naofumi called Raphtalia his daughter for the first time That's not because Naofumi sees Raphtalia as his daughter it's because his seven deadly sins cursed series shield is making Naofumi misinterpreted his romance feelings for Raphtalia as the love a Parent has for his child So Naofumi has been in love with Raphtalia since S1 Ep4 but he can understand that because of the seven deadly sins cursed series shield The anime is really bad at explaining all of this so I thought that I would explain it for you
