October 14th, 1999 is one of the most historic days in the legacy of WCW Thunder. Vince Russo is on his way to WCW, so this is Kevin Nash’s last night as booker of WCW. Not only that but he is going to join commentary for the entire show. This episode ends up being a master class in wrestling comedy. For better or worse Kevin Nash shoots this entire show and ends up burying most of the roster, however,  it’s hilarious. As far as the show goes, Nash says half of the roster didn’t show up so they had to book it on the fly earlier today. La Park comes out to help Buff Bagwell and ends up in the main event tag team match. We do get progression of the Total Package Buff Bagwell feud. You will never predict in a million years how this show ends.

YEEEEESSS! The Pod Art is Nash giving the biggest shit-eating grin! It's beautiful! Now it's time to WATCH, er...LISTEN to THIS!

Zarux

Fuck fucking yeah!

Blake McMillan

Best episode of WCW programming to exist.

Justin Harman

Warrior University was a wrestling school. There's ads for it online. Warrior specifically talks about how wrestling isn't as important as entertainment and presentation. The Warrior comics are INSANE, including Warrior BURYING the artist of the first three issues in issue four

I haven't listened to the whole promo yet so I cannot transcribe it as the boys requested but on the subject of the Ragin' Cajun Lash LeRoux I would bet that the Louisiana French Creole phrase he's saying is "Laissez les bons temps rouler" which can be translated word for word as "let the good times roll." Source: am from Mississippi and had family that lived in Louisiana at one point

GingerPimpernel

Was just coming here to say the same. Not from the area (or even the US), but he used to say it in most of his promos, and Tenay noted on commentary that was what it meant a few times.

This seems like almost the WCW equivalent of the Main Event Mafia taking over TNA episode which is my favorite TNA episode and also the episode that made me stop watching TNA forever. It's weird how quick I tapped out on WCW considering when I started watching in 1996, I was WAY more of a WCW guy than a WWF guy, but by this point I was hardly watching so I have no recollection of this.

Jawnny deserves a deadie for the read on that Nash voice over holy shit 😂

Two-Tone MoonStone

I have never been so excited to go back and watch an episode that the boys have already reviewed lmaoo

Breastination Unknown! Booby, Booby, Booby Soho!

I just knew that the addition of La Parka in that main event was gonna be a swerve. Somebody was gonna be in the costume and attack Buff Bagwell. But my God, what ended up happening was the furthest thing from my mind. That was the absence of an ending.

Treadcutter213

Old glory is gonna be on so many Patreon names coming up…

John Blud Fears Philly771

Lmao whoever made the Philly771 name in the shout outs I just want you to know that you rule.

Alyx Lewandoski

This might be the hardest I have laughed at a review since the Navy seals episode there were points of Nash ribbing that I was just crying

natey boi

lmfaooo was survivor series 03 really that bad?? i definitely know why it was recommended to y’all (juiceeeee 🩸) but that was probably the only reason 💀 like that shitty bash ppv.

The only contender to Nash's commentary was that brief window of time in late 2010 early 2011 where Punk was doing commentary on RAW. He was so entertaining that he actually got me back into wrestling from a long hiatus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQwepCDNl94

Two-Tone MoonStone

I thought the same thing, that first night of Punk commentary was legendary.

The MK Zer-Yooooooooooooooooooo

Round of applause for Jawnny with the perfect reading of Nash's voice over. The boys have been on a streak of "Funniest episodes ever" lately, and I am loving it!

Billy Gun on a Moped

Man it’s such a treat being able to play my game and just listen to the boys. You guys are so amazing
